No not really. I haven't heard her name brought up in like 3 or 4 years. 

 

The only celebrity that people I know bring up is Kanye (and not for a good reason either).

One of my girlfriends enjoys her a lot, says her music got her through breakups. Although even before she was dating boys, she enjoyed her music a lot as a teen. She was *very* excited for midnights. I don’t really enjoy Taylors music personally (besides reputation), but she did put me on that lavender song from the album.

But then folklore happen and people really appreciate her music and storytelling songs. That album is so essential to her career, it really transfer her from a tabloid pop stars to respected musician by the GP.

Yes. I met her at a pizza party (literally a party where they ordered from like a dozen different places and we all rated them based on their pizza + ranch combos and it was actually a blast), and this one girl who I assume is pretty normal (other than her random IG account devoted to rating different restaurants' ranches?????) was a stan. Homegirl was explaining to me the entire saga of Jake & Taylor and the 45 minute long video and then demanded that we play it and when I went to look at my phone even for a second during it, she was like "PAY ATTENTION!" 

 

It was crazy.
