why atrl mad when artists marketing music

I seriously dont get the mindset and wonder is there any reson why it is wrong for artists to do discounts, promotions for their music to get the #1 song.

 

Taylor, Ariana and Gaga usually called out a lot for their greedy tactics to get the no 1 on the chars but end of the day isn't the albums and the songs are their product and they need to market it well? Why those marketing desicions heavily critisized by the music fans?

 

I appericiate the work that their team doing after the songs are released if you have a product in your hand you cant expect it to blow up and have huge sales if you just wait and do nothing.

Because stats are all stans have to keep their silly immature stan wars going on and it's easy to drag someone for a discount or a remix in those stan wars. It's all in pursuit of that.

but that's another minus to comparing acts

it depends a lot on their promotion too, which should be important in the discussions

we're talking about Taylor, Gaga and Ariana when the remix is a the weeknd song with an ariana feat. So clearly is not Ariana's team is making these discount movies but the weeknd's team.

So hating women has a part on it.

I don't understand this point. It's not the first time i read it.

 

Where is this "being succssful without making an effort" about Rihanna.

I remember in the years until 2016 she always has made a lot of promo, a lot of videos, a lot of interviews and a lot of performances (and a lot of records and featurings). She really has been always very hard working (and from her team well a lot of remixes, discounts and whatever strategy).

 

She's not putting effort in music since....well since she's not making music so how we can say how much successfull she can be with this attitude without actually releasing music?.

If you mean Lil Nas and Sam Smith nobody is mad at them because they’re promoting. It’s just the pathetic attention seeking way they do it. 
 

In general it’s just how transparently easy it is to get a #1 these days if you try hard enough and the way these artists don’t even try to hide anymore how much they want it.
