P!nk spent the week promoting there.

atrl and stans still using this promo thing. Promo is songs on playlists and radio. Beyoncé not only had HHUK, she had TTH with songs swapped throughout week; which would help her massively due to the rules.

I know, but her doing promo still helped a bit considering her fanbase must not be the youngest out there. If her label made her promote in the UK for the release week, they sure had their reasons to do so.

Promo depends on what your audience is sensitive to. Bey wanted streaming audiences, younger crowd, so she promoted her stuff by way of playlists and social media. Pink has an older audience and she’s been serving performances, dropping visuals, and doing media cycles with interviews. She’s performing for BBC2 and Trustfall might have a nice hold because of all the work she’s been putting in the UK. Her singles bombed in the US but she went 100% this last week putting her name out there and her numbers improved from initial predictions, although her streams are in the pits trending downwards. She’s targeting other people and doing what’s right for her audience. Good for her and it will help sell out the rest of her tour.

you said "Bey tour power in Europe is bigger than Pink."

which she is not

Bey tickets are more expensive and still get sold out. So even though they both sell out their tickets and possibly do the same number of shows there. Bey average gross per show will definitely be higher especially with the upcoming Renaissance tour. So she is bigger!!

P!nk is the second best album seller this century there. Only behind Adele. Beyoncé does well in the UK, but Pink is bigger.

That's not necessarily true.

Beyonce:

July 2 & 3 London Wembley Stadium 142,500 / 142,500 $15,301,688

P!nk:

June 29 & 30 London   Wembley Stadium   145,230 / 145,230 $16,665,313

The $1m+ dollar difference could be attributed to the fact that these tours were 3 years apart, so you can see they're pretty much on par with each other.

That's not true, considering the UK chart rules discount/diminish the highest charting songs. :skull: P!NK sold a lot of physicals, due to actually having them available (unlike Bey). She will likely see a huge drop in her second week, as her streaming non-existent, unlike Bey.

This thread shouldn't have been made, because they're about to massively embarrass P!NK and that's a shame because she doesn't deserve it.

This is kind of an inaccurate take. P!nk choosing to make her tickets slightly cheaper on average doesn't mean that people wouldn't pay more for them. It just means that that's what she's chosen to charge. With how fast her dates are selling out (from personal experience, it was a MESS trying to get tickets :jonny: ), we all know she could charge extra and still sell out.

Look who opened this thread. :sistrens:

P!nk was always bigger than Beyoncé in Europe. Beyoncé's last hit in here was Sweet Dreams or Halo (Idk which was released first), I guess.

Halo was released first.

Beys team are smart. She had at first the last album track on TTH for 3 days, along with BMS (which is discounted) then they swapped to Alien Superstar(?) and then church girl was on HHUK. I can’t remember the specifics, but that’s spreading the wealth and would help with that rule rather than putting 3

strongest on both HHUK/TTH.
