starstruckaj Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 Billie Ellish is sooo magnetic in this, just getting to her episode and I would love to see her in more acting roles. and the lead actress is definitely eating this role up, she is a complete star But this take on stan culture is soo unhinged, even though it’s mainly about the hive you can tell it’s also about some other fandoms too 1
Cottonmouth Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 On episode 6 now, and I love how different this episode is. It's actually really refreshing. Normally I dislike when TV shows do the one episode derail, that usually happens in the penultimate episode.
stochastic Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 Lol not the reference to Love & Basketball to identify Sanaa as the biter. Someone did their research 1
Cottonmouth Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 Just finished and I actually loved it all. So fun and fresh. Dominique, Paris, Billie and Chloe were amazing in this. The acting was great from entire cast. 1
ZORBIT Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 watched until EP5 & Billie served so hard I was gagged, I'd definitely join her Cult group if she ever had one Chloe & Paris carried as well, this has been spectacular to watch so far

TrashMagiq Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 The constant censoring of Beyoncé's name, the beyhive pillow and ivy park in episode 6 sent me sbdhfs they rlly said let's make it Clear who this is about 1
Vignesh Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 This was seriously bonkers. I really enjoyed bingeing this.
Delirious Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 billie eilish. WOW. just WOW. her acting was phenomenal. And so was Chloe's
northwest Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 This was very good the finale wasn't as good as the other ones but okay The best episode was the 4, i'm surprised with Billie's acting she was good 1
DUA LIPA Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 if they use that overused snippet of "this is a reason to celebrate, a reason for festival" again are we supposed to believe that's a chorus of a hit song.
DUA LIPA Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 wait... episode 7 was the last.. i kinda enjoyed the run up to ep. 6, ep 7 kind of fell flat although i liked the content of it, i just wish they had chosen a different ending or added another episode in style of ep 6 to finish off the "investigation"?

fridayteenage Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 atlanta ended the same way, where you're not totally sure which part's a dream and which part's reality
Gossip_Boy Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 (edited) Ok I'ma need Donald to do a Loretta Greene spin-off series. She had me crying throughout the whole episode. This show just blends horror and comedy perfectly. Edited March 19, 2023 by Gossip_Boy
genetic fail Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 Episodes 2, 4 and 6 are iconic! The finale was a bit of a letdown though.

Gossip_Boy Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 (edited) Episode 7: Since Swarm is a show based on the events from the sixth episode, this feels like a Hollywood retelling of Andrea Greene where she is able to find peace. The name of the episode is “Only God Makes Happy Endings” and it directly conflicts the telling of the true story from the documentary in episode 6. Andrea is arrested in the real world and is investigated for several murders. This version of events allows Andrea to experience Ni'jah, gain peace, and potentially start to work on her issues. The reality is she was arrested and potentially exposed for her other murders. To me, the episode in addition to the title was a reminder that many times the endings we see are fake as the real endings result in loss and tragedy. This was such brilliant story telling and a wild ride. Genuinely one of the best show I’ve seen in awhile. I’m mad it’s over, I wanted more lol. Edited March 20, 2023 by Gossip_Boy 1

badgirlriri Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 This was stellar from front to back, definitely my favorite show of the year. People having the nerves to hate on the mockumentary episode, say your unserious and go 1

The text at the end says the investigator is pushing for Dre's arrest, different PDs are opening investigations against her and finally the public is asked for information that would lead to her arrest. E7 is then a regular continuation of E5. 5 hours ago, badgirlriri said: This was stellar from front to back, definitely my favorite show of the year. People having the nerves to hate on the mockumentary episode, say your unserious and go I thought the investigator lady was hilarious and made that episode bearable but overall it was entirely useless to the plot. What was the purpose of showing her connecting dots that didn't need connecting because we literally saw everything happening before earlier on? It felt like they really wanted to go all out with the meta aspect for the sake of it even though it didn't fit naturally and wasn't clever in the slightest. I'd have much preferred another regular episode instead.
