Bigger Career - Jason Derulo vs Chris Brown?

ATRL keeps pitting them on the same level for some reason, so who has the bigger career overall?

I’m going to go with Jason. He’s been getting hit after hit for a decade straight that’s going unnoticed while Chris was bombing hard for a decade until like 2017 or 2018?

They both had their prime times where they had hits AND were taken seriously (Brown a little more than Derulo back then)

They both aren't anymore, so this comparision kinda makes sense, surprisingly.

 

Jason Derulo rebrand as a tiktok boy felt like it hurted even more his name to the point he's 100% not taken seriously, so he gets casual hits but it will always just feel like a fluke, not that his is truly "on top". 

 

This is still way better than being seen as a woman-spanker. So Derulo wins!

Jason might have the bigger hits globally but Chris has been a consistent hitmaker for 18 years and counting, on top of having successful albums, tours and a big dedicated fanbase. Not to mention, more respected artistry too. His longevity >

Unfortunately I have to say Chris has a bigger career. Bigger career peaks and a bigger fanbase. Where as the only Jason Stan I've ever met is @Remmy

Obviously, Chris. Jason ocasionally gets a hit, and I doubt any of us expected him to still be able to do so after all these years, but Chris has a far bigger hold on his genre than Jason, has the bigger albums, bigger tours, and is far more consistent when it comes to singles.

It feels like Chris is always kinda there and consistent with moderate hits but Jason occasionally gets smashes that are bigger than any Chris song.  I voted for Jason.

Globally Jason I think. Im sure people woud rather to go to a Jason Derulo concert instead of Chris Brown. But Chris' fanbase kinda big in the States

One of them was the third biggest R&B/hip-hop chart artist of the 2010s behind Drake and Rihanna. And it wasnt mr derulo

They put him on their songs because he's a big male R&B artist with a more loyal fanbase. They could call The Weeknd but his sound is much more different nowadays. And Jason is too Pop for R&B female artists.

 

I would choose Brent Faiyaz nowadays if picking someone newer
