Editing really wasn't the issue with Thailand like it was Philippines. It was mainly budget.

 

I actually prefer how the lip syncs were shot way more dynamically vs how stunted they felt (this is obvious in DRPH where the lip syncs were filmed from an angle to how the queens were actually looking to face the judges).

 

If you compare:

The camera work actually getting below the stage makes the Thailand lip syncs some of my fave, even when the girls were both doing a bad job, like with Silver and M.

Frankie easily won that,  I was laughing at the amount of noses she used  Everyone else either had mixed or bottom critiques. 

 

Don't think that lipsync was double shantay worthy but not mad at either staying.

I don't think I've ever watched a Thai program before. The language sounds lovely but the audio is literal ****. And the editing is kinda messy.

 

But the Werk Room is really cute, and I'm already living for this cast.

 

 

I haven't finished the episode but my instant faves are Shortgun and Spicy Sunshine.

That production company is literal trash. Whoever they hire to do the audio clearly has no fxcking idea what they're doing  the lighting and camera work is a bit messy at times as well, but that motherfxcking audio is baaaaaaad.

But wasn't it the same production company as DRPH? The third and even second seasons of PH are so much better in audio (and lighting) quality than this (not so much in editing tho lol).

 

At least the sets (Werk Room AND main stage) look really good.
