It makes no sense they are not in the subway. They should be a snack you get in the subway only and stick true to their brand. Never have I seen a Subway in the subway so I’m left confused.

Ugh I love them but this is their main problem! They mostly exist in malls here but I'd rather get an actual meal at any other place than a sub. They should be located near public transportation or other places where you just wanna eat on the go. The time i had the most subway was during an internship cuz I would leave the office get a sub and walk around during my break so I could properly enjoy being outside

they just wouldn’t want to waste any food, so if something fell on the floor they would just pick it back up and serve it to customers :weeps:

also a lot of the times they would touch the food with no gloves on. especially when “making” the tuna, they would mix all of it with 0 gloves and it was insane. it was just not hygienic at all.

I used to love love love their tuna subs, haven’t had their subs in easily 5-6 years tho….those were my college struggle meals

I used to go to subway regularly from like... 2006-2014. I guess when it was revealed all of their products were trash I decided not to go. I went probably 2 years ago to see if it would taste good how I remembered but it was so bad and I don't think i will ever go again.

as an east coast jew who grew up around the BEST italian sub places within walking distance from his parents' house... subway is god awful. my parents were very "why have subway when we can have all this other stuff??" so the first time I ever tried subway was when i was like 14 and I couldn't get past two bites :pukey: so I guess I was privileged enough to grow up around amazing sub shops but unfortunately denver is not the same, so I just don't really eat a ton of subs unless I'm back visiting my fam

I never eat there unless I’m desperate. I would rather go to an actual deli which is usually comparable in price and size and has much better ingredients.

If I’m using a fast food deli then Jersey Mike’s >>>>>>

same. their quality has gone downhill over the years. haven't had it in years.

Is it the healthiest fast food you can get? No. That title probably goes to a Sweetgreen or Tropical Smoothie Cafe-- at least we're I'm located.

Is it the tastiest fast food you can get? Probably not. My tastebuds crave something more nutritious and satiating.

But, you know what, it does the trick when I'm on break, and I have to grab food quick. Like another user said, you can get proteins, carbs, healthy fats (especially if your Subway sells avocado), and calcium all in one sitting.

Depending on how you customize your sandwich, vegetarians should be pleased, and possibly vegans (although, the only sandwich I see them getting is a Veggie Delite but substituting mayo for oils and spices-- assuming the oils are vegan?).

Any restaurant you go to is most likely going to use enriched bleach or unbleached bread. If you REALLY want healthy bread, getting Eziekel bread or Dave's Killer Bread would be a better option. However, I don't know most restaurants that use those breads as options. Heck, you could probably make your sandwich healthier by ditching the bun/bread and having a lettuce wrap.

Tl;dr: Subway is decent for what it is. I'm not going to act like I'm above Subway. A toasted veggie delite, toasted, with mayo, seasonings, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, spinach, pickles, and provolone cheese is my go-to.

Fair. Making food is probably more cost-effective, but sometimes you're in a pinch, or you just don't want to cook.

I work about an hour away from where I live and my roommate is a complete slob, so between my commute to work, cooking, and cleaning the apartment (which is pretty spacious for a 2-bedroom, to be honest), it's nice to have fast food options when you don't have time to cook, prep & then wash the dishes and kitchen.

They were good years ago, but they fell off.

Love them, just had a Turkey sub last night for dinner :yum:

Their pizza subs are the best :jonnycat:

There are no other places like that here, so it’s a bit of a serve if you fancy it. The food is basically all slop though, but there are a lot of vegan options so that’s good. It’s definitely over priced though. It is what it is, I guess.

I like Subway, but there's Wawa and Jimmy Johns where I live, both have quicker service and Jimmy Johns has a drive thru. And Wawa clears when it comes to their hoagies/subs.

That's pretty much the same everywhere else, especially restaurants and fast food where there's more demand, less time, and less pay.
