Eh, if we're going off the Zara video, the better comparison would be to ask non-Americans to name regions since Scandinavia being a region of countries and not a country is what appeared to stump the interviewers.

Ie: Asking Europeans to point out a map what states make up Appalachia, the Mid-Atlantic, etc.

Some of the US regions don't have really consistent definitions though like people used to consider MD to be kinda a southern state but now it's considered part of the NE. Or, like, is Pittsburgh in the NE or Appalachia or Rust Belt or Mid West or Great Lakes or??... And are the Great Plains part of the Midwest or are they their own thing?

30/50. I always forget the midwest/south ones like Kansas and Missouri.

It's easy, you just gotta remember that Kansas City is in Missouri and Missouri City is in Texas because the US is quirky like that. Texas City is in Texas though, cause Texas ain't nobody else's b****.

When geographically challenged Americans get upset when people laugh at them for thinking Scotland is in the Himalayas, their standard retort is often "Well I bet you don't know the states of America". So it got me thinking, ATRL how many states can you name?

Id love to know who thought this LMAO. :bibliahh:

Kansas City is split in both Missouri and Kansas. Part of KC is in Kansas but the bigger half is in MO

I remember Utah cause High School Musical was filmed there :gaycat4: and the landscapes of that movie are abeautiful.
Would be  nice to have a thread in the future about the states and the things we associate them:gaycat2:
