Delirious Posted January 7 Posted January 7 The numbers are so close wtf?? The 8k difference between anti hero and miracle Also I thought Dave's song would be so much bigger but it's not? "EMI’s biggest single of the year was Anti-Hero by Taylor Swift (No.4 overall, 1,124,159 sales). For the year-end rankings, Sony Music dominated the singles chart with six out of the Top 10 (including Raye's Escapism). In addition to 2023 leader Miley Cyrus and Raye, the major had Miracle by Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding (Columbia) at No.5 overall in 2023 (1,116,008 sales), SZA's Kill Bill (RCA/Top Dawg) at No.7 (1,069,727 sales), As It Was (Columbia) by Harry Styles at No.9 (952,709) and People (5k) by Libianca at No.10 (910,714 sales). (Sprinter by Dave & Central Cee was on 1,219,313 – they were the only two double-platinum singles of 2023)." 1

Delirious Posted January 13 Posted January 13 UK charts: #84 (-24) Looks like it'll stay maybe for one more week and then the songs run is officially finished. It'll hit the sweet spot of 40 weeks. Until next time! Unless it'll rise again when Calvin releases another song? Idk

Idk It probably won’t chart next week but surely it’ll re-enter when the BRIT Awards happen? Especially if it wins and if they perform it 1

Delirious Posted January 22 Posted January 22 45 minutes ago, OnlyYou said: how could they not nominate the 2nd best selling British single released last year Well I mean if it happened at the iHeartRadio awards, it might happen at the Brits but yea the chance is really low
Delirious Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Ok well it got nominated and congrats to Calvin Harris on his well deserved other nomination. I never knew Brit awards had like 10 nominations in each category i- I feel like raye is gonna win if I'm honest. But I really want Calvin and Ellie to perform. Or maybe raye will win the artist awards and miracle will win SOTY
Cqmerqn Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Important to note re. BRITS ’Song of the Year’ is literally the top 10 (or however many) best selling songs by British artists, so Miracle was guaranteed to receive a nom. The result is decided by public vote, so it won’t win. 1
