Pink chose to be a soccer mom singer with the last few albums so she lost her cool factor with younger generations. She'll be fine as long as her tours keep selling out though. It’s so weird. I think Just Give Me a Reason smashing caused her to change her route with a kid now. I think it made her feel she could get hits without having a harsh image
nick4bty Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Not bad for P!nk considering it's her second dud album in a row and the lead single was a flop Trustfall should've been the lead. There's really nothing else on the album, so it's pretty much done after this. I don't really get what happened to her... She was so strong for a solid decade with Funhouse/TTAL/Beautiful Trauma, and then H2B and Trustfall are straight garbage. Honestly, BT to H2B is one of the biggest falloffs album to album of a popstar I can think of, and she only made it worse with Trustfall. I feel like this was her one last chance to make a big album and have some success, and she really blew it. Guess she's basically just a touring artist now though
Flanders Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Oh damn. I’m surprised P!nk isn’t doing better, she has a lot of hardcore fans
Mystic Boy Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 The album is bad so lm not suprised, she definitely lost it between TTAL and BT

VioletsandRoses Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 She was outselling her peers until recently. Had smash albums and singles. I don’t know what happened to her. Guess people want pop rock or got tired of generic stuff she does now
Price88 Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 It might be good numbers for p!nk. But for her not to be at the top shows how her career is on the decline with her age. I mean txt beat sza? How did she not? I’d say this may fall off quicker hurts 2b human. But I do love trustfall the single. Hopefully, radio starts to add that and it debut on the hot 100.

That’s why we constantly see 20 year olds taking over charts and debuting. It’s rare these days to see anyone over 30 debut like it was in the 90s and earlier eras. Then it wasn’t about looks then, it was about talent. Tiktok is nothing but about sex appeal and who looks the best. That’s all I ever seen and why I don’t use it much. It’s a shame that’s what everyone cares about now.

It’s a shame that’s what everyone cares about now. Sza and Lizzo became popular in their 30s. Beyonce, Britney, Nicki and Shakira all had Top 10 hits recently in their 40s while P!nk can’t even go Top 90, so clearly it’s not just about ageism.

Sinister Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 The random Britney vs. Christina feud in here…lol

Solid decade (or more) of success, and then the basic Hot AC fodder became stale to the GP.

Interesting suddenly your fav desperately hopped on Elton John’s hot track there’s double standards. Anyways congrats Pink. I think this is decent numbers for her & it’s going to take a much stronger artist to take down SZA.
pieuxvu Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 I love Pink but she have released 3 terrible albums in a row.
Renan90 Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 (edited) TOP 20: SZA STAYS ON TOP TDE/RCA’s SZA will notch another week at #1 with SOS, while P!nk's ninth studio album, TRUSTFALL (RCA), is headed for a #2 debut and Rihanna looks to remain in the Top 15 with 2016’s Anti (Westbury Road/Roc Nation/Def Jam). Also slated for a Top 20 debut will be MCA Nashville’s Jordan Davis with Bluebird Days. Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re going to our happy place. https://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=334827&title=TOP-20%3A-SZA-STAYS-ON-TOP Edited February 21, 2023 by Renan90
Hector Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Yas at P!nk rising to #2 with 68K Hoping she rises to 70K in Billboard's final numbers. Considering she has no hit in the US in the moment, this is great for a veteran artist over 40.
Ivan_brit Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 P!nk predictions went up I hope it rise & ends up at 70k Debut that will be a great debut for her Riri ANTI #12 we love a classic album!
Misguided Ghost Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Pink doing almost 70k is really not bad! Not a huge fan of her album, but so far in her career those numbers are good.
UnusualBoy Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Decent number for Alecia, hope it crosses the 70k. ANTI still top 20 SOS, about to tie 25 with 10 weeks at #1, Open Arms, its power, I fear
BeyColombia Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 (edited) the fact that some people were dragging and calling Beyoncé over with a 332K debut and almost 200K pure.... Good numbers for a veteran act me thinks Renaissance still top 15! and America has a problem is coming... the tour is coming and the era hasn't even started in terms of promo and visuals Edited February 21, 2023 by BeyColombia
