zoldyck Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 How did it compare to Ava and Raye. P!nk is veteran and her streaming numbers shouldn't be compared to new girls but just curious to see who has biggest debuts of the year so far.
Aren Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 She used to be so big globally until about What About Us. How did she become a non-factor?
Bears01 Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 Beyonce really is the last one standing from her generation, huh (along with Eminem)……

Outlaws Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 Can't blame people for not streaming that piece of... music.
Jessie Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 Got excited thinking that was the single debut but still congratulations on the album launch; hundreds of thousands of people will soon be paying top dollar to hear these songs live

Jessie Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 7 minutes ago, Aren said: She used to be so big globally until about What About Us. How did she become a non-factor? The style of music just fell out of fashion especially as Gen Z has become more dominant and the next generation of moody stars has come along — not too dissimilar to other acts that lean older HAC pop like Kelly Clarkson and Katy with Taylor being the exception due to her eternal teenagehood. She is still one of the world’s most successful live acts so there’s always potential with the right song she can experience a comeback.
liquiddiamonds Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 (edited) She wasted an opportunity to return to her pop/rock roots. It would do better than the mix of balladry and pure pop trend hopping that she tried here and just didn't land. Her fans are older and I don't see her reaching a younger crowd with this, so she should've played to her strenghts and give the long overdue rock album that she tried with Try This Edited February 18, 2023 by liquiddiamonds
Trent W Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 Wow this is really a bomb. Didn’t Avril double this last year? Pink was still huge in the 2010s. Even tho she has been around for 25 years her decline is massive compared to a few years back.

Rev8 Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 The fact that she was outpacing Beyonce until her previous era really shot herself in the foot there kind of not surprised tho..her 2 singles did almost nothing havent even listened the album myself, cuz the lead was so bad and the 2nd was okay but just that - didnt motivate to listen to a whole album she really needs to ditch Max and Shellback lmaooo they were saving her for several eras..but even their stuff are kind of Meh these days cant believe she is one of the veterans that started playing it safe..... also, not surprised she is doing this badly on streaming Britney had smaller success than her in the streaming era, yet they both kind of doing similar numbers on a quiet day..
thatsmydemi Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 I don't know why people say this is bad for her. I was expecting even less. She hasn't had a hit in years and she's definitely not a streaming artist. Her last big hit was right before streaming started. Her fanbase isn't the kind of fanbase to be perched on Spotify streaming her non-stop to get her big numbers either lol.

This is funny because beyonce has been out longer than pink but yet her streaming numbers gets compared to the newer girls
