M. Night Shyamalan Says New Film Knock at the Cabin Is "Contained and  Gigantic"

Deadline's report continues, "Under the new agreement, Shyamalan and his Philadelphia-based production company Blinding Edge Pictures, run by president of production Ashwin Rajan, will develop original projects for the filmmaker to produce and/or direct for WBPG production divisions Warner Bros Pictures and New Line Cinema."

Up first from Shyamalan and Warner Bros. is a project titled Trap, which is already dated for theatrical release on August 2, 2024. No word yet on the genre or plot details.

Didn't really like M Night's few previous films but they are always at least different in vibe so Ill see this.

it's probably the main premise/point of the movie.

 

it's not like every studio is A24 and plays bait & switch with their horrors

It's not supposed to be a twist? It probably gets revealed early on in the movie.

I mean they could've left it vague like the movie summary: "A father and teen daughter attend a pop concert, where they realize they're at the center of a dark and sinister event." and left that plot point for the theatres :katie:

M Night is a master at twists - where he makes you think you have it figured out and then later he changes course. I think there will still be a big twist at the end.
