Hector Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 (edited) Centered on Queen Charlotte’s rise to prominence and power, the show explores how the young Queen’s marriage to King George “sparked both a great love story and a societal shift, creating the world of the Ton inherited by the characters in Bridgerton,” per the official synopsis. Sex Education’s India Amarteifio will play the titular character, and newcomer Arsema Thomas is set to portray a young Lady Danbury, who “uses Charlotte’s arrival to find her own way into society.” Meanwhile, Golda Rosheuvel will reprise her Bridgerton role as the older Queen Charlotte, along with Adjoa Andoh as Lady Agatha Danbury, Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet Bridgerton and Hugh Sachs as Brimsley. Additionally, Corey Mylchreest (The Sandman) will take on the role of a young King George and Michelle Fairley (Game of Thrones) will play Princess Augusta. Excited about this Edited May 6, 2023 by Hector
Europe Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Ok but the audience wants Bridgerton season 3.
Gui Blackout Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 The guy who plays the King the casting of this show never fails
99sandthe2000s Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 HYPE! I find Queen Charlotte to be one of the highlights of Bridgerton, and I'm excited about her backstory!
Monster Megamind Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Finally a gay couple!! Looks like gays have been propping up and looking after messy straight people since the beginning of time! What would they do without us!
OrgVisual Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Ep 1 and it's so camp. "Virgins on the left, Whores on the right"

Hector Posted May 6, 2023 Author Posted May 6, 2023 Not even joking, this station ATE up season 2. Much better writing, and this season proved why Queen Charlotte & Lady Danbury were always some of the best characters in Bridgerton They dealt with the topic of mental health very delicately I thought. Spoiler I loved that Charlotte stuck with George until the very end and that final scene was too cute for words. The footsmen Brimsley & Reynolds are gay couple goals They loved & bickering like a married couple. I'm glad Shonda actually listened to the queerbaiting complaints of season 1 & the queer erasure of season 2 by writing a lovely little side story here. Now did Reynolds die or not? Interesting how Agatha & Violet decided to leave Agatha's affair with Violet's father unspoken. Looks like it won't affect their friendship much. I totally understand why Lady Danbury rejected Charlotte's brother's marriage proposal but loved that Charlotte was willing to help her afterwards. Every single one of George's butt shots Corey Mylchreest is a star. Gagged at seeing Michelle Fairley aka Catelyn Stark as George's mother on here
Gui Blackout Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 This was very good. I enjoyed it more than S1 (S2 is still superior because Jomathan and Simone's chemistry was legendary). The leads were perfectly casted, again. I like that it had a slightly different tone, a bit melancholic. I just wish we had more Charlotte and George scenes. I didn't realize that it was only 6 episodes, it felt short. They should've cut down those flashforward scenes, and as much as I enjoyed Lady Danbury's story, it took too much screentime. Also wanted to see more of Brimsley! The last scene was SO beautiful and emotional.
publikcitizen Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 The guy who plays young King George is so hot. There's something about his smile that makes me quiver

RockStarShit101 Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 I have never gotten into these kinds of shows, but I saw a clip and the acting is atrocious. Is it normal?
