joanabt Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Basically this shows which artists have the most streams with less songs. I divided the total streams by the total songs of the artist on Spotify to know the average of streams x song. This was the result: 1 Harry Styles 404 2 Billie Eilish 396 3 Post Malone 319 4 Bad Bunny 311 5 Lil Nas X 275 6 Olivia Rodrigo 271 7 Bruno Mars 247 8 Adele 225 9 The Weeknd 207 10 Juice WRLD 205 Just thought this was cool information and also wanted to show the streaming force that Harry Styles is, he has the highest average of streams x song because he has multiple hits without a lot of songs released, and because people listen to his albums as a whole. Also, Ariana is 14 with 189M and Taylor is 31st with 117. They both would be much higher if only the album tracks were counted but i've just let chartmasters do the work for me.
joanabt Posted February 13, 2023 Author Posted February 13, 2023 Also, Billie is really impressive too. Considering she's released 3 albums and HTE wasn't as big as her previous album and it could've dragged her down the list, but WWAFAWDWG is just too big!
Kyoto Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Wonder how long it will take for the Olivia Rodrigo's stans to come here and say her 50 soundtracks singles shouldn't count because blah blah blah
Badgalbriel Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 This is not really a good metric. This phases out older artists while benefitting younger acts.

HausOfPunk Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Wouldn't this favor one hit wonders? If I had one song with 1 B streams wouldn't I be at the top of the list?
Taylena Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Taylor has a ton of crap on her Spotify page that aren't even songs. It adds more than 100 tracks which brings her average down when it should be around 200M.

Same thing happens with Dua Lipa and even Ari with some remixes and “k, bye for now”

Right now he's at 24B with 80 tracks, so he should be above both of Olivia & Lil Nas whose numbers I believe are already updated. He has an average of 300m per track. Edited February 14, 2023 by IVY
PopFan1996 Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Adele Her streams are so impressive. If she was active during the streaming era, she would be untouchable
