Jesus, Taylor :rip:

This says so much about how huge she's become. And to think I worried that the rerecordings would ruin her chart runs. Nothing New did that though!

It has double the amount of tracks and is in the streaming age where the OG was still in digital/physical age.

And yet it’s a decade old predominately -country- album, two components that don’t exactly make for a successful blockbuster album. In fact Fearless TV performs relatively poorly even with its additional tracks when compared to the original release. Red TV is a huge success for her, all things considered.

Its 22 vs 30 tracks and people are actually streaming all the tracks so that makes a difference for sure. Plus it's still doing ~5k pure weekly so the album would still place top 50 with the original amount of tracks.

Doesn't change the fact that it's mostly composed by previously released songs. In fact, I can name you many female albums from the streaming era that spent fewer weeks in the top 50

I genuinely think it’ll be looked back on as her magnum opus and the album most fans connect to heavily

Streaming era albums have more longevity in general but it's still very good for a rerecording.

Not sure why y’all are acting like what I said is a drag :deadbanana2:

Its impressive a re-recording has had such longevity but acting like it has surpassed the original is a reach. They were released in completely different markets.

Not remotely surprising to anyone who understands how charts work these days.

Her catalogue being taken from her was the best thing for her career.
