I think it was filmed in 2020 but is only now getting a wide release.

Ah you're right. I remember hearing about a COTC remake getting a limited release during Covid (dumb decision). I'm intrigued by the trailer.

Is this the one that was released in like 2 movie theaters before getting pulled because of covid? Forgot all about it. I thought they would dump it to a streaming service eventually. Definitely didn’t expect it to get a theatrical release 3 years later lol.

idk how to feel about this. the plot always intrigued me. but 3 years later? isn't that a bad sign? and the trailer made it look so campy
