Y’all seriously need to pick up a book or read an academic source or something to learn the basics of political ideology and spectrum. NK is a communist regime, on the near-exact opposite side of fascism. So it is logical for a deflector from such ideology to adhere to the right.

north korea don't consider themselves communist either so what now  north korea's regime fits the definiton of fascism (and is regularly compared to japanese fascism during WWII...) and arguing how left/right wing their ideology is, is honestly reductive as it's an incredibly simplified system.

tons of these traumatized North Koreans end up being super conservative / right wing nut jobs wherever they flee to. I don't think we need to pay them any mind tbh.

It's a mix of trauma, wanting to belong and make that bag by catering to the right wingers who are eager to use POC refugees who espouse their same narrative as tokens for their dumb tv segments and also a paranoia of anything close to seeming sort of "socialist".
