Moonturn Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 So they really thought that this is going to be the huge single of the album, hence the video budget and now this mess. If the album flops because it wasn't released in January, I'll fume.

They really thought with nice visuals and a slightly better budget they were gonna deliver. her team I swear.
K@rm@ Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 I think the album will still do numbers. Public interested in personal life is still there. They are gonna listen to all the songs and dissect lyrics. I Just hope she has another smash on it and maybe the new bzrp will be it.

rta1913 Posted July 8, 2023 Posted July 8, 2023 i don’t know who that is and I am too lazy to Google but damn he’s hot. Yes mama, keep us fed. I think I prefer her releasing singles cause we know the moment she drops the album that will be the end of the era and she will disappear for a couple of years. Take what you can, this is coming from someone whose faves have not released anything in YEARS. 1
LatinFreak Posted July 8, 2023 Posted July 8, 2023 Hes worked with Shania recently from what I see on his Insta... and other white people mainly so i wonder if it will be an English single... specially since the whole caption is in English, she usually does both ENg and Spanish captions. but yes he is indeed HOT https://www.instagram.com/p/CLuTJCZHDKy/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
LatinFreak Posted July 8, 2023 Posted July 8, 2023 oh..he also produced Dynamite by BTs... so... worried now.

Me Gusta featuring Anuel AA - Fall 2018 3. Te Felicito featuring Rauw Alejandro - Winter 2019 4. Monotonia featuring Ozuna - Spring 2019 5. Copa Vacia featuring Manuel Turizo - Summer 2019 What a perfect single run this would have been with a summer album release Origami better be a Blackpink collaboration if she's going with a high profile k pop girl group feature. Le Sserafim or Aespa are the only acceptable alternatives that would make any sense. For soloists Boa and CL are the only solo acts that are worthy and equals to Shakira. vuelve88 Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 Copa Vacia flopped so hard that Shakira is already talking about her next possible single. I wonder if it really was an El Dorado leftover or if she just wanted to go back to that style.

You can hear the basicness from that era all over this song, of course is a left over she probably tweaked it and added the intro and bridge to make it sound more fresh but failed. el dorado was a great album full of bops but it was just all over hopefully we don’t get another playlist that’s all I ask for this era.

This era she gave us: Electropop/House (Dont Wait Up) Synthpop/Urban (Te Felicito) Ballad/Bachata (Monotonia) Electropop/Dancepop/Synthpop/Urban (Session 53) Electropop/Electrohouse (Dont U Worry) Ballad (Acrostico) Very electronic heavy. The Only full reggaeton songs from the era were TQG-Copa Vacia So, she's been experimenting this era I love totally the visuals of this song and papi turizo but the mid success is probably a good thing. Shakira will realize how giving us half-assed urban tracks like Me Gusta-Copa Vacia can be detrimental and she will be more selective Was the album pushed back cause she's not settled in Miami already? Too focused on the kids to start album campaign? The dad situation She's confused about the concept of the album? recording more songs? According to some insiders like Shakirillo she will release the album in september or october. is that truth? Im a little done with this wait like everyone but gettin stressed will not do us good. So in the midtime i will play some Shakira Ai covers. Theyre a good way to spend the time while we wait for new music *** this sounds so amazing, i'll be forever mad for shakira not recording it and letting sia keep it

It's crazy to think that songs like We Found Love, Let's Go were originally meant for her because those would've been easy smash hits to add to her English catalog. She was crazy to pass on Move Your Body the way that could've been a major solo hit for her would've been such a serve
