popmusicisdead Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 nothing will ever touch Sugababes musically 2000-2005. too bad since it went downhill when Mutya left.
Bloodflowers. Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 Sugababes > Spice Girls >>>>>>>> Whites aloud
AidanUnderYou Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 Girls Aloud easily have the best and most interesting music. They created some really forward thinking pop songs of their time. The Xenomania production was excellence, like Biology doesn't even have a real structure and Sexy! No No No just sounds weird in the best way. And these songs became hits. Something Kinda Ooh is also THAT bop. They were in the lane of what hyper pop is achieving long before it was even a thing. They weren't your typical cookie cutter cheesy girl group which is why they'll always be my favourite. Surprised they're not getting more respect in this thread. I mean, they released 20 consecutive Top 10 singles over 7 years and the single to break their streak peaked at #11 and then they broke up. Their stats are insane.
raven Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 If we’re talking iconicity, spice girls win but in terms of quality discographies, my personal ranking would be: Sugababes (with Mutya) > Girls Aloud > Spice Girls Sugababes and GA are very close though - I just listen to the former more.

reymiu Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 Anyway looks like Sugababes is winning by a landslide... Push the Button, About You Now & Too Lost in You really stood the test of time and remain iconic to this day. Plus, Freak like Me - Round Round - Overload all gained pop cult classic status. Spotify Push The Button: 123M plays About You Now: 125M plays Too Lost in You: 50M plays
Supervixen Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 Spice Girls > Bananarama >>>>>>> the rest
eli's_rhythm Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 Sugababes’ best songs are above the rest, but GA just had so many hits and fun moments that I have to go with them.
Unreachable101 Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 1. Spice Girls 2. All Saints 3. Sugababes the rest of the groups have all been very local
KLatz Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 It's close between Girls Aloud and Sugababes, but due to the sheer amount of bops I love from them, I gotta give it to Girls Aloud. They really served until the end
