What’s your most prized, meaningful, cherished, or most expensive, possession?

The more time passes, the less things seem to matter. I do have a very big mug that I like because it's practical, you need to fill it up less often since it can contain so much water, so I can drink a lot and a lot more often, which is healthy. But even that only cost like 4$, I bought it at a village sale.

My regal unlimited movie pass for 22 dollars a month. Nothing beats seeing a movie at the movies and an amazing place to escape from the world, my phone and you guys 😂lts really something nice to not have to pay to see whatever you want whenever you want. Cept for the monthly fee of course

I have two,

 

The first is my lucky hat. I saw a particular hat on sale many years ago and loved the design, but it was limited to 24h only, and I couldn't afford it, so I didn't cop. Every now and then I'd think about it and try to find one on resale, about two years later I found a collector who had a spare one and was struggling to pay rent that month, bought it from him over twitter and I've been obsessed with it since. I always feel lucky to have it each time I wear it.

 

The second is a cute painting one of my favourite musicians made, I have it on the wall above my bed, it feels awesome to have something 1/1 that she put her artistic energy into and it fits my vibe really well, love the way it looks in my space.

 

Honourable mentions: The pink backpack my best friend gave me, the signed copy of lover by Taylor swift oomf got for me, and the rainbow Pikachu vmax Pokemon card oomf got for me

It's 15 years old, and has a lot of sentimental value attached to it. 

 

I also retained a lot of letters, poems etc. type things people wrote me, and they too go back a decade.

Not to play into the stan craziness we display here, but mine is probably my signed Taylor Swift guitar I won at a charity auction. It was a donation from someone from UMG Canada, and signed during the Red era. The heart in the signature was smudged by her hand, which probably decreases the value and is why it was donated (they were supposed to throw it away and it got left in some basement for years instead), but I feel like that makes it even more authentic  I paid a hefty penny for it but all the money went to benefit a charity so I didn’t feel so stan crazy for buying it.

Can it be a whole dedicated collection? I would say my comic books collection of X-men titles published in my country. Basically the whole run from the 60s to current titles. It's something that I've always loved as a kid but never had money to buy, so as an adult I spend a good amount of money and time collecting them.

My favorite book. It's been out of print for years and I don't think there's going to be another print anytime soon, if ever. And the first print wasn't that big to begin with so if anything happens to my copy I probably wouldn't be able to find another one. I've never even seen it on those sites that sell used books. And I know public libraries exist and I use them all the time but it's my favorite book of all time so it's really important to me to own my own copy. I reread it every year and sometimes I grab it from my bookshelf in a whim just to get lost in its world again.
