Blue Monday Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 The difference between the Grammy’s and Howard Stern is that the Grammy’s do know Beyoncé’s music, which is why they are voting and he is left ranting on his radio show that continues to lose relevance with each new outburst he subjects the general public to. As others have mentioned, citing him in the year 2023 is a massive L
Beyonnaise Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 A loser. It's been so frustrating as a fan watching people completely dismiss Beyonce this week. Like I know the GP is trash but so many comment sections I've seen on Reddit and Instagram are flooded with highest upvoted comments that are saying Beyonce is overrated and narcissistic and Harry's album is far better than Renaissance (which they clearly never bothered to listen to). It's so insane to me because even if you like Harry, Beyonce is undeniably making the sharpest music of her career. I really think the "untouchable queen" image she's cultivated since Self-Titled has soured a lot of people who just see everything she puts out as inherently "overrated" and that it's being forced upon them or astroturfed just because it's so acclaimed. I honestly wish she made stupid TikToks and did more interviews, she can still maintain a mystique but at least she wouldn't seem like this wildly removed figure.
Material Girl Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 is he really acting like he can’t name a single beyoncé song? lol
magazine Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Inch resting. But why is he lying, of course he knows at least one beyonce song
Ricardo1993 Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 We seriously need to leave Howard Stern in the past. This man is disgusting vile trash.

Trent W Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 There’s no way this rat has never heard CIL, Single Ladies, Halo or Irreplaceable. Like what’s the point of lying like this? Even if that was true, you need to hear an artist to have something negative to say, otherwise you are talking out of your ass. He basically dragged himself.

Honestly was he important in the past or something? Every time I hear about him people call him a has been. My question is what did he do in the past that he was relevant at some point?
RunUpDoneUp Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 White people and the beatles kill me. Any heaping of credibility to a political network like the grammies that benefit largely industry acts and nepotism recipients only serves to further legitimize it. Howard comes across not only bitter that time has moved on(the beatles?! Lmao) and that a black woman is the one with a champ belt.
Gossip_Boy Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 No one cares what that sexist and racist piece of **** has to say about anything. Y’all will literally side with anyone just to undermine a black woman. Are you not embarrassed?
Attitude Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 I didn't know Howard Stern was still a thing.
crf13 Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 There’s something very odd about a stan of Christina Aguilera (a feminist) using this dinosaur of a misogynist to create some discourse over whether or not Beyoncé (a feminist) deserves the most Grammys out of any artists.

Shocking. The OP has linked Candace Owens themselves as well in a thread about Sam Smith, so they got 2 out of 3 all on their own
MonsterOfFame Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Sorry, but I do see Howard Stern's point. Look at the cultural impact The Beatles still have: Everybody knows at least one of their songs, their music is still heard everywhere from stores, to commercials, to movies, to the radio. Beyoncé on the other hand, hasn't reached the same level of ubiquity. Do your aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. know who she is? Can someone you met on the street sing the chorus to one of her songs? I respect Beyoncé as an excellent performer and artist. But the level of "Queen Bey" that the music industry elevated her to does not match her actual status amongst the *general public.*
Big Bad Wolf Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 How you win 32 Grammy awards and not one of them is AOTY? Are odds normally stacked against artist like that?
Roberto Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Everyone knows Single Ladies at least so, he's lying.

Hurem Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Yeah, Grammys don't mean anything other than proof you've got good industry connections, but his reasoning why Grammys are irrelevant is kinda bullshit.
king_queen Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Beyoncé >>> The Beatles but whatever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
romas_ld Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Could Beatles write a song like Alien Superstar? Don't think so

Asparagus Spears Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 It didn’t deserve album of the year. She didn’t release any sort of visual component, there were no videos, performances, promo, interviews, nothing. Renaissance came and went. Harry’s House had longevity, people talking, hits, videos, performances, promo, the whole package. if people are being honest with themselves, people moved on after 2 months of Beyonce giving us nothing. She deserved album of the year for self titled and lemonade but not Renaissance.
