I'm obsessed with this movie now that I've seen it twice and read the book :jonny5:

Luca does it again :jonny5:

The perfect mix between Call Me by Your Name and Suspiria

This was... something.

I didn't hate it but Luca sometimes fails to balance form and function. Daniel Craig killed it, however.

Spoiler

The way in the end, Allerton had me feeling all confused like Lee. Was he a homo? Did he have any feelings for Lee?

What happened to him in the end? Did he run away with a lover? Was he killed since they never heard of him again?

So much unclarity. I need to know the whole story about that fine ass man.

Overly complicated for a fairly simple and relatable message

The third act is so wild :rip:

Finally saw it. It wasn't confusing, but I thought it was rather poetic in what it wanted to say with the telepathy. It's so heartbreaking to know that, no matter the decade, some queer individuals will never get to really enjoy their romantic life as much as heterosexuals can :emofish: Daniel Craig really is the only element that deserves the most praise here, and I'm glad he is! You can tell he put a love of heart and soul into his performance :clap3:

This was my first Luca film, I haven't seen challengers yet but had only heard good things. What didn't you like about it?

The plot, ending, the pacing.. It's a really unnecessary film tbh.

I saw this last night and it was just fine. They could've cut 15-20 minutes out tbh

I hope they release the full cut of this film cause, based on the screenplay, there seem to be quite a few scenes that did not make the final product.

Like Omar Apollo's singing scene.

At least they dropped the track.
