Well, it's (probably) a trick somehow but people are going nuts over it due to the fact it looks like they are *actually* being so intimate.

Just saw this movie at the New York Film Festival and adored it  I knew those mixed reviews because of the third act and epilogue were bullshit. Yes, not everyone is going to get this movie but those that get it will understand it.  This was an incredibly sexy and beautifully bizarre movie. Some Call Me By Your Name touches you will find in here and Daniel Craig gave such a sterling, committed, and fearless performance in this. What a wonderful first Oscar nomination this would be. Drew was very good and Lesley Manville was unrecognizable and batshit crazy,  even more than in Grotesquerie. Even Jason Schwartzman was so surprising in this. Another masterpiece from Luca and I loved the ending. For those expecting a romantic drama,  expect that but with some David Lynchian arthouse touches in between. I'll happily rewatch this in a theater
