Its silly and actors should know better I think the problem is how much they're giving the directors/auteurs to finance these projects that are never going to make a return on their investment simply because streaming is not profitable. They'd do better to try and expand their theatrical model so that these movies have some kind of a life outside of the service
Eóghan Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 I don't get why y'all are so upset, just unsubscribe if y'all aren't happy. I'm pretty sure y'all are still gonna suck Netflix's dick even after they apply all those new guidelines.

geddymonster Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 If you’re paying for a certain number of screens, who cares where the screens are? It seems like it would just be easier to make a “family plan” type of subscription.

I doubt they ever will get one. on a semi-related note, it’s kind of hysterical that they paid no mind to All Quiet On the Western Front and that turned out to be one of the biggest contenders of the season
kandicha Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 the rules were too much and too heavy-handed... in trying to crack down on password sharing they were also cracking down on people who pay for their own accounts who move around or travel a lot for whatever reason. good luck to them.

I can't justify paying $20 a month ($240 a year) if I'm the only person using it in my family. I barely watch Netflix anymore and their content isn't even that great compared to other streaming services. Thank goodness Netflix listened to the backlash and saw the writing on the wall.
