Someone leaving as soon as you do the deed with them?

So I met this guy, we went on a couple of dates. It was great and we really connected and we’re sensual with one another. It was two weeks ago so nothing too long. Everything was going right and I was feeling great about it all but then he randomly messages me this morning and says he enjoyed the time together but he doesn’t feel a romantic connection with me. Wtf. On the one hand I’m happy he’s being honest, and while at the moment it hurts I’m sure I can work through it. On the other I’m glad I’m bi because all men seem to be the exact same. They get laid and then they dip. Maybe my hetero era will be making a comeback. Can’t keep doing this **** all the time, it’s emotionally draining.

omg as a fellow bisexual i FEEEEEEL you, men are so flaky it almost makes me want to give up dating guys entirely and strictly hook up with them while i focus on romance with women or non-binary ppl. but yeah you've unfortunately been dumped by a silly doofus :/ I agree you can definitely pull through. do you live somewhere with a big queer population? jw

Lol I did this to someone a couple of weeks ago....after the hook up and spending the night, I knew I didn't want to pursue any romantic or sexual relationship further, and while he seemed like a nice person, there's no use in even attempting a friendship after such an encounter. So I basically said exactly what they said to you. They just weren't feeling you like that :/ You'll bounce back.
