dabunique Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 This decade defining hit and their first number one here in da states
JoeAg Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 honestly the greatest pop song ever, idk how it’s still SO relevant but i think it will be as long as there’s war, anxiety, political unrest, general human struggle, and any sort of feeling of coming-of-age in this world so wait maybe i DO know how it continues to be relevant
mystery Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 What a timeless and stunning song! Well deserved.

Moonlight Nation Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 A timeless masterpiece! Perfectly crafted on every aspect! It's beautiful to see it resonating so much with the current generation. Welcome to the 1B club, Tears For Fears! It joins "Hotel California" by Eagles, "Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac, "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire, "Don't Stop Me Now" + "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen, "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson, "Every Breath You Take" by The Police, "Take On Me" by a-ha, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana, and "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio as the few 20th Century classics to have achieved this. There are other tracks part of this elite I didn't mention, as this wasn't meant to be an exhaustive list. Unfortunately, beyond "Dreams", the only other song involving a female artist is "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey, which is pretty disappointing. Hopefully ABBA, Donna Summer, Blondie, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Kate Bush, Dolly Parton, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, and Janet Jackson (just to name a few!) can see a mainstream resurgence in their work to boost their stats.
Whosthatboy93 Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 One of the few songs that I never skip, never get tired of listening to it, a classic

Well Whitney is gaining pretty fast- she should join by the end of the year I predict. OT: here for it! one of my favorite 80s songs
Katamari Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 the first album is better and deserved but this is still a classic
youcallingmyname Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 My sister ruined this classic for me. She is such a poison when it comes to music. I hate how she takes a song and overplays it to the point that you just get triggered anytime it plays.
