25 years in and Pokemon keep on smashing with no mercy in Nintendo Games, Pokemon Go, Merchandising, Anime and even Pokemon Trading Card keep increading year to year to a level beyond any kind of logic

Lol Scarlet & Violet is the fast selling game to 10 million on the Switch.. doing that in 3 days where Dragon Ball is N/A.

Not a fair comparison. Pokemon has a more wider reach, it appeals to more ages and gender. Where as DB is geared towards a more young-teen+ male audience.

Is Pokemon more successful? Yes. But DB is also successful.

Pokemon is 4x bigger (despite being introduced 12 years later) according to Wikipedia. That's not to discredit Dragon Ball at all. She's huge. But Pokemon is on another plane of existence. Her weave was snatched faster than this Jynx's

Pokémon let’s be fr. And I like DB more, DB is still the most iconic and global anime of all time though. But to put it in perspective I think the pokemon anime competes with DB in that regard, and that’s more like their side business for some promo whereas with DB the anime is the real moneymaker
