So much better than I expected!

Just watched episode 1 and i'm pleasantly surprised. Knew nothing of the anime, just a few clips here and there that i've seen on tv but went completely blind watching the live action serie and i'm hooked. Love the mix of action, comedy and the clear plot easy to follow.

I'm on episode 7 already and I'm really enjoying it! I appreciate all the changes from the manga/anime especially taking into account that everything was provisioned by Oda himself. 

 

My most favorite part about the show is definitely Nami, she's such a great actress and I LOVE how she's portraying the character. It's really the best live action Nami we could've ever gotten.

Zoro is absolutely HOT wbk but I don't really like how stoic he is. In the early parts of One Piece he had much more personality, but in the live action he's more like the late Zoro after the timeskip. He's still good in the live action but could've been a bit better.

Usopp and Sanji are GREAT and Luffy.... he makes me cringe so hard sometimes but I guess that's the point? He really nailed Luffy's goofiness

Syrup Village fuсking SUCKED though, hated it in the anime and the live action somehow made it even worse by stretching it into 2 episodes. At least Kuro's acting was outstanding + Usopp and Kaya's kiss was very lovely 

And Buggy.... He's an icon, he's a legend and he IS the moment! Now cmon now!

Finished it and this is a strong 8.5/10!

I had so much fun watching it, and even despite some minor stuff I disliked, there were so many amazing things I loved  Everyone did a great job!

The better question would be why Sasuke behaves like Zoro nnn; One Piece started in 1997, Naruto in 1999

Never saw the anime but the first episode was great. I was SHOCKED  my only complaint would be the fight scenes, they were a bit weak and empty. But the emotional beats were on point
