same here! while i enjoy this album in doses i think the campiness is just a little too on the nose for me compared to WYP - it’s just not a style of music i can enjoy all the time

Still obsessed with this album. It sounds so good on the beach this summer. An easy 10/10 album where every song sounds like a classic from the past. On vinyl it all sounds even better. Excited to see her live this fall. Her live performances are stellar

The love Invention definitely came out of no where and is at the top spot, but they are so different that i dont even think they can sit side by side. Both are equally fantastic and AOTY

This is definitely not as good as WYP but ntm on Jessie now, that Goldfrappe album is definitely way weaker except for a few songs.

Congratulations on the Mercury nomination. She deserves to win too but the award will probably go to Fred Again or Arctic Monkeys.
