Bloodflowers. Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 Tori Amos - A Sorta Fairytale Alanis Morissette - Precious Illusions Basically both songs are about expectations in a relationship but you come to realization that they never end up being what you initially wanted but are just appreciating the ride and holding on and trying to make the best of the situation

Bubble Tea Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Kim Petras - "Hillside Boys." It's so fun and bubbly, and yet so heartbreaking and about feeling insecure, tossed aside.

JoeAg Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 it's absolutely stunning and the tune is sprightly but if you consider how existential the lyrics are... it's a bit depressing everything about it! a masterpiece of conflicting emotion prettiest song ever and then the lyric about the mirror and the person on the other side being just you... DESTROYS me again, poppy and fun melody, but the lyrics are so f*cking depressing. he's just talking about paranoia and then not giving a sh*t in the end. Float On is kinda similar in that way, but I think Paper Thin Walls deserves its flowers too so beautiful in every way but makes you think about how quickly lives fly by 🙃
