TOP 20: SZA NOTCHES ANOTHER WEEK AT #1

SZA bookends our Top 20 projections this week as SOS (TDE/RCA) remains on top and CTRL, also TDA/RCA, is #20. New albums from HARDY (Big Loud) and Trippie Redd (1400/10K/Capitol) are tracking toward Top 5 debuts. New releases outside this week's Top 20 include Måneskin (Arista) at 15k and Ice Spice (10K/Capitol) at 14.5k.

too high for trippie red, frontloaded as usual and pretty sure any track in album wont be a hit ( no talent to pull rage rap off )

Never expected Abel's greatest hits album to outlast UVST and Dangerous.

I'm absolutely blown away by Midnight's pure sales. Streaming is holding very well but pure sales are on a whole other level for a 14th week, during January, after already selling 1.8M pure.

Like 1.8M pure sales would already be a success in 2010, but we are in 2023. :deadbanana4:

This is the most stable I’ve seen an album in a while :deadbanana4:

I know, Rumors being in the Top 20 week in and week out after 45+ years. Nothing is ever going to beat that. That would be like The Highlights or Dangerous charting in the Top 20 in 2066/2067.

Taylor's pure sales are great but her recurrent streams are not good enough. Bad bunny's album that came several weeks after Taylor has stream worth of 40k this week, while Taylor also have 40k plus. Don't get me wrong, the total sales is impressive but the low recurrent stream will hurt its chart run. Once pure sales become negligible, Midnights will start dropping significantly on the chart.

Yeah it probably wont be parked inside the top 10 for over 2 years, like Dangerous, but its still doing like 2-3 times better than folklore or Lover at this point did and they are both top 30 this week after ~3 years. So :gaycat6:
