Agreed. I LOVED Ungodly Hour and while I didn’t think the sound would be similar here since it’s a solo work, I was still expecting something forward-thinking instead of this. It doesn’t feel like it has an “identity” of her own, and is a deprivation of previous R&B girlies meshed into one body of work. Maybe it’s a grower?
