That's my problem with this whole conversation. That it's so apparent that some people have been hurt by her weight loss. Not you necessarily, but people. Women. Women who look like the previous version of Adele. It's too easy to say that she's had surgery, but actually she went to the gym three times a day for over a year. Many are not willing to work on themselves like that. I never denied that Adele didn't work hard to get her actual figure. And although I understand what you mean with the weight loss. Why is it a problem to you here if it was never included in the conversation?? A lot of celebrities get backlash for plastic surgery claims, regardless of their weight. You're branching out to a different context.

It does relate to this convo in the sense that all these plastic surgery claims started as soon as she lost weight. And I say this again that I have followed Adele so intensely for over a decade. And Youtube is like Facebook now with the all conspiracy theories. If you look at that video you linked, basically everything can be explained by weight loss and ageing. This is her mom. clear similarities And you can tell she got the bone structure from dad too, jawline and the brow bone. I just show these because she literally looks like what kinda child those two parents would make. She wouldn't if she had had surgery. It's just not ok from you to start claiming that she's had plastic surgery done to face. Even if this is a random forum, but still, let's remain in reality. Edited January 23, 2023 by anti-bitch

While makeup is transformative, it would be delusional to think she hasn’t also had some work done. I’m sure a little lifting and injecting was suggested after her pretty rapid weight loss.

Idk about the rest of her body because she's never shown it much, but at least her face is the same as ever. I mean just look how much difference makeup makes. these are both from late 2021.

Perhaps aging does change them physically, but in early ages Aging absolutely changes your bone shape, as you age your bones loose tissue and your body replaces it with new bone, therefore gradually changing over time. And make-up can very convincingly create illusions with your bone structure and facial shape. I’m not saying if Adele has had work done or not because I don’t know but to say that aging has no affect on your bones or their appearance is wrong, as is thinking that make-up can’t drastically alter their appearance.

Also, my mention of teenagers and trends was intended to be included in a general space, not only Adele. And I agree about celebrities not being role models, but they're still in the public eye and can't help but influence younger audiences, regardless of the artist's amount of exposure to the media. I have no idea what you meant with that last sentence tho lol. It's true that self-love and self-worth starts at home, but an intervention from the outside world is guaranteed, and that can convey some disruption in the mentioned matters That’s what we call an inference, not a fact—if “misogyny” is the implication that you derived from a mere three sentences, then I don’t know what to tell you . As for the last paragraph, you do know what I meant because you explained it in the next sentence. A child’s confidence, reflection of themselves, and security starts at home. If the child has a good foundation and people to lean on (the obviously inevitable) “intervention” (that everyone goes through) is less likely to override facets of themselves they’re already secure in. You can’t control people, nor can you control the world. So, ask yourself, does “calling out”, what you “perceive to be” surgery, change anything, beyond your comment being on ATRL? If you were to ask Adele, or any person for that matter, if they had surgery, would it make you feel better, if it made them feel worse? What satisfaction are you or any other ATRLr’s getting out of saying things like these, and then putting it under the guise of “influencing teenagers”. That says more about your character as a person than it does a celebrity who (may be) doing surgery because they want to.

P!nk Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 She’s definitely had work on her face. It’s subtle enough for her to not look tragic though.
