In some ways you remind me of another lost writer… but I’m sure that’s just happenstance. You’ve increased in rank from last season (from 10th to 6th) while maintaining consistent growth, increasing your average score by 0.026 of a point. Keep in mind that both seasons you skipped a round, which makes your consecutive top ten placements even more impressive! Should you have the time and creative resources to share with us, I see no reason why you couldn’t break into the top five overall in a future season, shatter your average score with a complete run of six submissions, and even score a Silver or Golden Hit Token or two. If we were to only focus on statistics, one could say you’ve been on a steady decline since your debut season in terms of average score, but to say that would be disingenuous, and wouldn’t be taking all relevant factors into account. This season in particular you’ve been courageously vocal about your writer’s fatigue, and I think the fact you have pushed through and finished up strong in yet another season is testament to your talent and tenacity through adversity. Invisibility To say you were the breakout star of Golden Hit’s third season would be a colossal understatement. It’s not too often we see a new talent that out of the gate demonstrates everything we are looking for in a writer and then some, but you are just that. For me personally, it was your second submission “Quaint Human Spectacle” that really resonated with me and positioned you as one to watch, but “Water Breaks in a Lunar Mare” absolutely solidified that notion. Sometimes after a high such as this, writers may fumble trying to recreate their past successes, but you just continued to demonstrate your versatility and conceptual creativity, from rap-assisted AI sex bops to demonic omnipresence and Inception-inspired sapphic dream sequences, it’s safe to say you have one of the most eclectic discographies Golden Hit has ever seen. I honestly believe you are the type of writer that would have thrived in the Platinum Hit era, as you clearly have the stamina, creativity, and willpower to reinvent yourself and impress week after week after week. I hope we see you next season! 🥉
