poki Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Since Take A Bow got new visuals, we can officially confirm she could have removed GMAYL and BIM at any show and chose not to do so. Welp.

Alongoria13 Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 What Mylene Farmer did (weekend shows in stadiums only) is such a food strategy ngl she could’ve pulled it off.

Boston looks good, same for Detroit. A bit disappointed with D.C. numbers, but the average price is still high. She should have announced the second date just after the second one. Philadelphia is a bit underwhelming since that arena can hold 15,000 for concerts
Elusive Chanteuse Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Wow. If she ever does a residency it should be in MSG or London cause she smashed these.
4th Time Around Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 (edited) I saw this tour in Cleveland and she put on a fantastic show, really loved the Erotica segment. The fact Madonna is still pulling in these kind of numbers is crazy, her longevity is something to behold. She really is the greatest mpg of all time Who would even bother denying that? I thought at least shows like NYC would crack the $4-$5m gross with ease but apparently not. Some of her shows in the same arenas from 2006-2012 grossed more without even adjusting for inflation. The Jonas Brothers' tour out-grossed some of these shows in the same arenas Also, compared to "acts her age" for example The Eagle's 2024 arena tour in the US MSG (2 shows) - $7,650,184 Boston (2 shows) - $7,024,263 Detroit - $4,091,370 EDIT: before you weak ******* start coming for me, I'm not saying these numbers are bad. I'm saying they're underwhelming for the Queen of Pop who reigned as the #1 touring artist for decades. Edited February 17, 2024 by Jjang 1 5

LOTF Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Why beat this dead horse? The numbers in USA would've been better had she not rescheduled the whole leg due to her health. She's more than fine as the touring behemoth she is. 3
Jjang Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 (edited) just realized these numbers are very similar to Mariah's tour's numbers a couple of months ago. Two touring legends so happy they're in the same category now Edited February 17, 2024 by Jjang 1 3
Jjang Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Anyway... GROSS: $121,425,580 643,033 tickets sold 43/43 reported shows At least the average gross remains stable at $2.8m (It was supposed to accelerate had the US leg done well, but)

Considering her last tour struggled to sell out theaters and averaged only $400k per date, no. She’s making x5-x6 more per date now. Which reflects on the overall growth of the touring market.

spiritboy Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 Madonna is flopping big time, ok? Can we now move on from this unhealthy obsession? Who was the guest judge last night? 1
BradySpears Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 Whew pit is an EXPERIENCE. Great crowd, got splashed by her (holy) water, she did take a bow (and sounded much better than St. Paul).
MP3 Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 (edited) Seattle, Vancouver, Sacramento, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Palm Spring, Denver, Phoenix, Dallas (1), Houston (1), Atlanta, Tampa, Miami (2), Austin and Mexico City are basically almost sold out Los Angeles 5 shows are like 75% sold on average, Dallas second show looks rough, Houston second show is quite good looking, 3rd show in Miami should never have happened and only side views tickets are left for the 2 shows in Austin The rest of the tour will high up the average prices numbers I guess Edited February 18, 2024 by MP3
