Kevin Aviance was the special guest for Vogue last night, and from the videos I've seen - the arena was packed.

the amount of tickets added to today’s show :rip:

Makes you suspect that these shows were never really sold out and her team just didn’t put the entire arena’s capacity up for sale and are dumping them last minute hoping the hype might sell a few tickets.

A lot of suppositions in here. You have no idea what happened and it makes no sense to release more tickets if the show was such a flop like you mentioned. More tickets are released when shows sellout or are about to. What’s the point to release extra tickets if a show is flopping as it is? :rip:

You could buy tickets for Renaissance tour in most usa dates days/ hours before showtime in the USA and the tour did well over half a billion dollars. Yall never learn.

The rescheduling hurt her sellouts in the USA but she’s still doing great.

It's a common pattern for slow-selling shows. It's not a Madonna thing.

They don't release the full capacity of the arena prior because their data analysts have already studied the demand. They put the rest of the capacity for sale to give late-goers more options in the hopes it generates more sales. I mean in Brooklyn they were giving a bunch of tickets away each night because even that didn't end up working.

As for Ren, the slower-selling shows are reflected in the gross. The issue with Madge is that despite the rescheduling, she's doing arenas while Bey did stadiums. There's nothing spectacular about doing arenas anymore. Nicki Minaj can sell them out at a high average price in 5 minutes too now. Newcomers and old legends alike are selling out multiple-night stadium dates. I'm sorry I sound like a negative Nancy to yall lol but that's just reality. Her selling power at least in the US is not where it should be for the legend that she is and it's disappointing to see that she's struggling to sell out arenas for her greatest hits tour.

She's doing multiple arena dates in most cities at much higher prices than someone like Nicki though. She could do stadiums if she wanted and you know it :rip:

She's selling 6 arena dates in NYC enough for like 2 stadium dates in there alone. Could Nicki do that? lmao

You're not just being negative...you're being unrealistic and you know damn well most of these dates were sold out before the reschedules.

I'm gonna keep it cute with my review of last night and just say she desperately needs to get her act together and start on time... :rip: leaving it at that.

Also, there was another fan, female in her 30’s who was such a sweet heart and danced and jumped with me in the 2nd pit and it just made my experience that much more fun. I wish I kept her contact info

Even well after the show started before ticket sales were turned off. "Sold out" shows, indeed.

Yes, she killed it once again. the Bedtime Story --> Ray of Light part is a career highlight, as is the Erotica section.

I think she's sick though. She sounded low key AWFUL during parts of the show yesterday (e.g., Everybody) :chick3:

LMAO. What? This is 100% not true. Like, at all. We are never believing you. LIKE EVER.

I work in this industry and can tell you this is absolutely false information.

Again, whoever arranged/organized/choreographed Hung Up needs to be slapped, fired, and never seen in public ever again.

Not sure why it isn't in the Veronica Electronica section...seems like a fairly obvious addition and way to close out the main set...

I was at the show last night, too. No matter what, incredible to see a living legend. I think the start time is really hard on the audience demographic, though. Also lots of empty seats, so we moved up. Kinda shocked considering how gay DC is. Open the schools and teach these twinks their history!

Live To Tell is a BEAUTIFUL performance.

It needs a complete REVAMP choreography wise.

And that outfit and wig need to be burned.

reminder that madonna had the most successful solo female artist tour with sticky & sweet until this year, a record that she took over from herself.

Music have been the perfect encore no questions asked. She literally had the platform to recreate the Drowned World Music entrance so like???? Why not do that.

Top 3 moments for me:

DON'T TELL ME :jonny3:

Die Another Day

Live To Tell

Honorable mentions:

- Like A Billie Jean Virgin

- The Beast Within

- Open Your Heart

let him keep making his own drama and being pressed.

that person doesn't even go to her show. and just busy spreading negativity and embarrassment.

he has no other things to do i guess.

its stunningly dominating and fascinating to know that she kept that record more than a decade. God damn 14 years.

after covid disaster, everyone gets free and comes out to see and enjoy the shows in years. and the ticket prices are skyrocketing through the roof and tour markets are the most expanded and oversaturated of all time at this point.

the record is broken after 14 years. and that says how dominating the queen of pop has been in that area.

an unprecedented career

She usually lip syncs the chorus but from clips I’ve seen she actually attempts to sing the chorus live and she obviously is struggling to hit the notes- so hopefully she’s not sick
