She's such a T.W.A.T. for starting so late, she deserves to be torn to shreds!

I can't help but feel like this tour has been completely overshadowed by Beyonce and Talor. :deadbanana:

Nah girl. Madonna tour is way better and more fun. More elaborately crafted and unique because she's telling her story through the show.

There's no other.

She's making another history with this one of a kind show:gaydonnacat1:

First time seeing Madge and of course she doesn’t go on until 11…but she really delivered an outstanding show. Vogue, Ray of Light and Hung Up were my faves along with Bedtime Stories and Open Your Heart. Some of the set list was a choice though tbh…

No way, it sold quite fast prior to the show, I expected a full show.

The show did eventually sell out so I'm going to reiterate something I've said on a few Madonna spaces now:

The rescheduling ****** a lot of things up ticketwise. A lot of people had to give their tickets back because it's quite different to be going to see a show on a weekday in the winter than in the summer time.

So, yes, a lot of shows still have tickets available. This however isn't an issue.

Promoters know how to do this. Their sole job is to get butts in those seats, and that's exactly what they did tonight. Concerts do one of two things nowadays: they either sell out instantly or they don't sell out until the artist is about to take the stage. But one way or another, the seats got filled.

This is not a new thing for her. On the Rebel Heart Tour, some shows morning of have a few thousand unsold seats. My date had an absolute ton of tickets left that morning, and yet by that evening it was a full house.

Ticket prices drop dramatically as the showtime comes nearer, and a lot of people scoop tickets up then. There's a whole community of concert goers who wait until the last second to get their tickets for this very reason. They'll also wait to go to the venue's box office so they can get the tickets at an even cheaper, non-changing price. Promoters will also get tickets out to people who may be waiting outside or around the local area for face value and entice people in with that.

There's a science to selling tickets, and the fact of the matter is most of the selling out happens much closer to the actual show than you think. If you look on Ticketmaster right now there's a lot of tickets available for tonight. When you look at videos tonight, you're gonna see a full house. The promoters know what they're doing. She isn't gonna walk out to half empty rooms.

Quit worrying about ticket sales, let the process happen as it always has, and just enjoy the shows.

There’s a bunch of floor tickets available for the remaining Brooklyn shows. Maybe some people asked for a refund after she showed up late for the first show lol.

I hope US media drags her to the pits for her lateness. It’s unbelieveble to see her act so unprofessional.

Yeah 11 pm is egregious. I will give her the benefit of the doubt this time since maybe they were really having technical difficulties but if she keeps going on this late, she will be dragged.

She could cancel it anytime and add other shows. But she would gross less and go on.

That's what she did during the rebel heart. The lower grosses from some shows in the states.

I don't understand how the first Houston show is almost sold out but the second one is in shambles?

:rip:

I am surprised she was able to sell out tickets given she had to reschedule everything from her hospitalization.

Does anyone know why she consistently comes late out to the show?

Btw what happened with the commute after the show? Was it horrendous?
