Good thing I'll be driving. The trains here have been a mess for years now.

I've been to the concert on the 12th in Paris and it was a dream come true to finally see her live! I thought I was not going to be so close to her but I was right by one of the catwalks where she performs Open Your Heart and some others. It was magical. She is the Queen for a reason. It was so good I had to find a ticket fo the 19th lol

I have to have a kidney stone removed. It’s been in there for months and won’t leave. But I mean…. She’s doing Bedtime Story. I’m not missing that. :gaydonnacat1:

Ouch how painful! Cant they give you drugs to dissolve it into smaller stones?

Nope! I tend to stick with water and tea. They can form by ingesting too much sodium.

Also, I’m sitting here text bombing the update number hoping to get in the pit. :gaycat6:

It didn’t allow me to text since I don’t have a German mobile number :rip:

That’s BS. Sorry you can’t get through. But it just linked me to a Madonna quiz. I figure until she’s on stage, an upgrade is still possible. But I’m losing hope. My seat is literally on the stairs. :rip:

So far, she’s an hour late tonight. Typical Madonna.

The audience has reached that stage where they cheer at any little change in the lighting or music.

She’s losing my section with the extreme lateness yet again. One person booed and is being really obnoxious. Remind next time to spend the money on pit tickets so I can be with actual stans.

How did it go?

I read somewhere else she did a different final number now

All was forgiven when the show actually started. I have sooo much to say, and I have to update my post with all the career references she makes during the show.

I have to get to sleep, but I'll type up my thoughts later. Live to Tell may be the single greatest thing she's ever done on any tour. It legitimately brought me to tears.

I may have used the wrong words. I just read that the B*tch I'm Madonna and Celebration part seemed to be tweaked but I wasn't there lmao

Is it true that she came out at 22:08 ? This is really bad ..

I think fans have to deal with Madonna’s lateness. Complaning here or on social media won’t change a thing. It’s unprofessional but expected behavior and you should make your plans accordingly.

Went to the Cologne show yesterday, Bob The Drag Queen started at 22:04. The show was amaaaaazing. She looks so good, sounds incredible, the dancers are so hot and talented, the production is insane. Seeing the show once is not enough to take it all in, I need to see it again. Reaally hope the rumors about second European leg are true, because the post concert depression is already kicking in.

All the moments that you would think are unnecessary or don’t work on video, do work when you see them live. BIM after the final interlude and with the Madonna drag queens was super fun; I Will Survive was also a nice moment, you could feel her connection with the audience in that song. La Isla Bonita needs to be full and transition to the studio version of it. Live to Tell is the most amazing, touching moment of the whole show. I cried from the very first note, it’s now become one my new favorite M songs after the show.

The crowd in the GA was the worst though. :skull: I felt like I was the only one trying to have fun with everyone around me just standing and/or filming.

Aaaand just as I thought when I first read the news - not having a live band is a poor decision. The show is great, but studio instrumentals are not as powerful as live arrangements. I felt like the sound could’ve been louder and more in depth. Not sure if this is an arena acoustics problem, but live bands add much more richness to the sound so I guess it could be related. They went off with the production though, so I guess it compensates the band, but a band could’ve taken it to an even higher level.
