First show in Paris was longer apparently (2h30), as she spoke more than usual. She described her icu situation and said she suffered from a rare disease/infection that went unnoticed. Her lungs were only 40% working and her kidneys were out in ICU.

Apparently she also mentioned doctors said she would take 8 months to make a full recovery :rip:

I seriously just saw her last week in Lisbon and she was amazing...

The fact she took good care of her body her entire life is probably the reason why she managed such a fast recovery. It's incredible.

Everyone expected countless cancellations and in a month from today her first USA date is happening, lmao.

Lazy young girls who cancel shows over nothing should take notes from the Queen :gaycat2:

Her speech was heartfelt and appreciative of life.

The heath situation sounded devastating. Anyone could have died of it. But the queen. She has exercised and danced all her life.

It helped her quick recovery.

It's quite astonishing to realize again that she's back from the scare.

And in a full madonna mode and gives us the spectacular shows every night.

She's godonna. A Fighter and  winner. We're so lucky to have her still as our brightest star

It's a great time to celebrate with her for this alone and especially from the deadly health scare.

She deserves all the love and respect as well as support.

Keep it up queen.

I was there too, she was so happy... we could feel it. My friend who isn`t a fan, said she was feeling her happiness, that the show was so good, well sung, brillant.

Finally saw queen mother yesterday and wow :jonny6:

Got a little emotional hearing her voice at the beginning singing those classics, I realized how much I love her and how grateful I am she's still performing at that level at her age :heart2: The show was a bit messy at times and she was 45 minutes late but if anyone is allowed that, it's her! I'd glady see her again if she came back next year

Anyone attending one of the Milano shows know if there's a locker/bag storage nearby? We won't have time to check into our Airbnb before and have to go straight to the venue. :biblio:

Milan has two airports. Malpensa has luggage storage as far as I know but they are open until 23:00 or something so you won't be able to make it on time.

I read on Twitter that trains will strike on November 15th at 10pm (don't know if it's just Cologne or entire Germany) but be prepared to find another way to return to your homes or hotels.

I have to have a kidney stone removed. It’s been in there for months and won’t leave. But I mean…. She’s doing Bedtime Story. I’m not missing that. :gaydonnacat1:
