Tell me about it, my show in Chicago is now on Feb 1st and last year they were at -5°C in that day!!!! But I have a pit ticket that night so she better deliver.

It’s kinda silly for me to ask because I’m from Mexico and we don’t have that weather but can music shows indoors happen even with very cold weather outside? Do they only get canceled if they get like a ton of snow or polar cyclon things?

So what songs do you consider essential for the tour?

Essential to me would be her bona-fide hits/classics:

Holiday, Borderline, Like a Virgin, Material Girl, Crazy for You, Into the Groove, Live to Tell, PDP, La Isla Bonita, Like a Prayer, Express Yourself, Vogue, JML, Erotica, Secret, Frozen, ROL, Music, Die Another Day, Hung Up, 4 Minutes...

Non essential: Everybody (should be there as it's her first single), Lucky Star, Burning Up, Dress You Up, Open Your Heart, True Blue, Who's That Girl, Cherish, Rescue Me, Deeper and Deeper, Rain, Take a Bow, Don't Tell Me, American Life, Sorry, Give It 2 Me

Others you're hoping won't make the set-list:  One More Chance (lol), WIFLFAG, American Pie, Hollywood, BIM (This seems to have made it, unfortunately but I can see why it's there) :noparty:

Burning Up and Human Nature weren't hits, but the message of HN is still as relevant to Madonna as it always was.

Open Your Heart (in 1986) wasn't as popular as the other singles from TB, but I wouldn't mind it being there.

-5°C is nothing to cities prepared for that kind of climate.

I have been outside even with -15°C in Montreal and people keep doing their life like nothing. Cities are well prepared for winter, don't be afraid.

It’s be great if she did the Junior remix version.

This one is tricky cause it is one of her greatest and biggest hits, but there’s so many options to represent the ROL/Music eras and adding it as well would mean sacrificing doing one of them, or to take the slot for another of her albums to get fair treatment. If it was part of an album and not a soundtrack I would say it would be a must but…

Such an underrated track, but kinda forgotten... it'd be cute to hear in an interlude maybe :keir:

Lucky Star non essential?

Sis, that was the song she used on social media to celebrate her 40th anniversary.

She also referenced to it in B*tch I'm Madonna and an early version of the Levitating remix. That song *is* essential to her in every form. It will 100% be there in the setlist.

A fun little playlist creator. Mine turned out to be 50 tracks :rip:

ended up with 31 essential songs. Pretty doable if you ask me. Included at least 1 from each era

In its original form only and not as an interlude or remix, only extended original version if they do. Absolutely, without question.

With Flower-child 70's aesthetics, NO Austin Powers cheesy crossover. Play up the track, not the film camp.

So I did some friendship bracelets for the tour and they look kinda cute!

i know, but still. people are more willing to spend money on concerts in summertime+ road blockages can lead to some show cancellations cause it can lead to the rupture of supply chains
