Same, it was really sad canceling my Airbnb and flights yesterday... Really hope she's doing okay. The tour will come if and when she's ready. Curious if this is gonna impact the format of the show at all. I imagine if this gets rescheduled, we're looking at a 2024 start date. Given the recovery time for an infection this serious, they likely aren't going to push this by just a few weeks. Plus she's now going to have to renegotiate new rehearsal space since the Nassau Coliseum has conflicts after her rehearsals were supposed to wrap.

campelo Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 I think the whole NA leg gets delayed to next year and she will start the EU leg in October

She has decent breaks during the European leg. They should also cancel a few shows, Tulsa, Nashville, 2nd DC & Phoenix, etc. she doesn’t need to be doing that many shows.
ArtForFreedom Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 Did something already happen with the dates or was someone having fun on wiki? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madonna%3A_The_Celebration_Tour

LoveLiveMusic Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 At this point no matter what they decide to do I think they should at least give fans an update whether or not the first show was happening. I think we know it's not happening and it's clearly something that has been discussed so why can't fans be informed even it's just the first 10 dates and then keep postponing from there. People are waiting to hear anything and it's so close for people to get travel accommodation refunds. If the show is still a go for July 15th then it's almost like why tell us and get us worried for nothing? 1
Carla Rosón Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Reschedule the whole thing to next year and rework it into a stadium tour just like Abel did This amount of dates is just brutal. 1

Guy's IG post: "we will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and rescheduled shows." It's safe to say it's not starting July 15th for certain. It's most likely the entire US leg will be pushed back just from competing tours, sports coming back up, etc. I'm sure they're working on more specific details but it's not been a week since she was hospitalized. I have only read Guy's official statement (the first one, if there's been more up to this point) so I don't know further details or how reliable other sources can be. I do hope she gets well soon. I believes it’s due to them saying that she had a bacterial infection that caused her to be hospitalized for five days along with reports that she collapsed and was unresponsive with a tube down her throat. There are only so many bacterial infections and scenarios that cause that according to doctors. Sepsis would.
Iaintsorry Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 If it was any other artist I know they would let insurance payout and cancel, but cause it’s Madonna she’s probs gonna push through (even if delayed) just to prove her perseverance
Starshine Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 I'm so glad I didn't buy the expensive parking yet Deep down I just knew to wait.

banterfly Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Happy she's doing better. Usually, patients like her would need to be cleared by physical/ occupational therapy before doing anything physical by herself. So her recovery may take weeks.
spiritboy Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 It must be a logical nightmare rescheduling all these shows. It's probably why it's taking long to release a statement regarding new dates. But hope we'll get good news of Queen soon.

John Slayne Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 i think it's safe to say the July dates are 100% not happening, but given she's been seriously ill for a week and will probably need several weeks to recover and then finish her rehearsals and get some rest my guess is that they will reschedule the whole first leg.
rta1913 Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Yeah I think logistically it may make more sense to postpone the whole american leg. Realistically speaking the tour shouldn’t and couldn’t start on August, since she’s barely out of the hospital. Her health is what matters the most and I hope She is in a good place mentally, knowing how perfectionist she is, she must be so frustrated they may need to postpone/cancel.
Wildcat Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 Scotiabank Arena has updated their website to show the 2 Toronto shows are now postponed so we know the first month of Canada / USA shows are postponed https://www.scotiabankarena.com/events/detail/madonna-the-celebration-tour

I really think she may start her tour in October, depending on how serious it all was.
_Fey Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 Whether or not it comes with a tour update, I wish we'd at least get an update on her health. It just feels kinda ominous seeing stans be like "oh Lola posted a photoshoot on Instagram! She must know Madonna's okay!" "Rocco was seen smiling! That means she's fine!"

spree Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 I think she’s fighting tooth and nail to not cancel anything and start the tour on time. You know how stubborn she is. You can still buy tickets for my Denver show on Ticketmaster.
