its stunningly dominating and fascinating to know that she kept that record more than a decade. God damn 14 years.

after covid disaster, everyone gets free and comes out to see and enjoy the shows in years. and the ticket prices are skyrocketing through the roof and tour markets are the most expanded and oversaturated of all time at this point.

the record is broken after 14 years. and that says how dominating the queen of pop has been in that area.

an unprecedented career

and even then, adjusted for inflation S&S is on par with Renaissance. the only tour to truly surpass it is The Eras Tour

Not sure why it isn't in the Veronica Electronica section...seems like a fairly obvious addition and way to close out the main set...

It needs a complete REVAMP choreography wise.

And that outfit and wig need to be burned.

i do agree Hung Up feels out of place where it is, i think they just shoved it somewhere for the sake of having it because it's a big hit. having it after RoL perhaps would make a bit more sense.

not here for the red lingerie and blonde wig outfit slander though! she absolutely STUNS in that look when she sings Bad Girl :smitten2:

i agree tho, it fits Bad Girl but it looks so weird when she's performing hung up, nothing about the look says hung up, and as u said that song already feels strange placed in that segment to begin with.

It was between Hung up or Candy shop, so we won, stop whining

Is it just me or… is Music not actually included in the encore celebration medley at the end??? I was expecting it after reading the set list, but I feel like I didn’t hear an ounce of Music in last night’s encore. It was just Celebration… or did the edible I took before the show affect my hearing?

She always sounds rough on Everybody, why is she even singing bits of it live when she's dancing, stomping, spinning and having a ball at the same time. Of course she would be all out of breath.

It's just a line at the very end that she only sings or shouts on a few dates. Other than that it's hard to hear it.

:cries: That #1 classic deserves better

I just realized the black dress with the red drawings on it didn't make it to the official show.

And I STILL wonder about those rumors over Sorry and Music. Something definitely shifted behind the scenes even before this summer.

She also changed Frozen to Rain. That’s why it still has that Frozen backdrop lmao

I believe the rumors that an act was cut that included “Music” and “Candy Shop”

That red outfit and that wig bother me every time I see it.

:dies:

Who's idea was that?

She needs to warm up a bonfire and toss that wig and that red outfit with those Hard Granny kneepads.

The final outfit with the veil is the worst one imo.

All of her outfits except for the black glass catsuit are awful.

That whole final act reads like some 2015 fan-fiction tbh :toofunny2:

Madonna appears on stage wearing a blue corset and a wedding veil. Give Me All Your Luvin' starts playing and all the dancers are dressed like her past outfits including Ditta, baseball skirt, and the Like A Virgin wedding dress. She does 10 seconds from the track, then switches to ***** I'm Madonna. Nicki Minaj appears on a massive screen behind her to do her section. Then the track shifts to a snippet of Celebration and Madonna covers her face with the veil and that's how the show ends.

Yeah seeing this live really breathes new life to this track. Rain also felt so much more anthemic than I expected. And the country version of Mother & Father omg. I need a studio version of that ASAP.

Just left the D.C. show and I am so mesmerized. Truly one of the best shows I’ve ever attended.

I haven’t had time to collect my thoughts yet but the transition of “In This Life” into “Live to Tell” was such a highlight and “The Beast Within” interlude gagged my ass! :WAP:
