Worth It is low key my least fave, it sounds like ESS/scrapped album track. I loved these pop demos she was making, but this album just feels above that

I feel like the songs that are good are masterpieces and the songs that are bad are just bad. Like she just had to have a song for each topic instead of focusing on having all good songs. It's overall a great album tho.

The Thrill Is Gone 8.5/10 (love the groove)

Ice Cream Man 8/10 (very powerful song)

 

GOOD:

Worth It 8-/10 (it’s giving 2021 demo, love it)

Five Stars Hotels 7.5/10 (loving the sexy vibe)

Oscar Winning Tears 7/10 (cute opener)

Body Dysmorphia 7/10 (wild side vibes )

 

OK:

Buss It Down 5/10 (meh)

 

BAD:

Environmental Anxiety 4/10 (a total mess)

It’s a good album that’s undeniable but it does feel like just a meh overall experience with pretty good highs and major low points too 

 

but an album with locked down, born again, fantastic, mercy, etc would have been a serious contender for AOTY

 

its crazy how she was unable to release that project bc of so many label hurdles and it was literally an album of 10/10s across the board …

I agree the dark dance songs/2021 album sessions stomp all over this debut album it’s sad 

 

but this album is I guess more about her current vibe which is not poppy/dance music 

 

Polydor A&R wise was definitely onto sumn with forcing her to write pop/dance tracks since they wash these new ones 

 

but this album is still good, just not her best one overall…might even be her weakest one yet from all the released ones cause i never disliked anything by on her other projects…
