The best is Slave and the most remembered is between Slave and Like a Virgin/Hollywood... the kiss was most remembered in the late 00's/early 10's but I think for the majority of the past decade the Slave snake has been more replicated and referenced

Oops is so underrated.

 

Yes she did have the strip moment, but besides her dancers it was all her that got the world talking. No snake, no kiss, no boyband or co artist. Just pure X factor, and only her second VMAs as well. That's history. The 2000s performance will always be the best in my opinion.

kind of forgot about the Madonna one tbh which was very heavily publicized but I guess was that more cause of shock value

OIDIA and Slave are the best by far. The OIDIA performance and her look are just so amazing but so is Slave.
