Something needs to be done about Prc The US House can't make laws about China's fishing industry in a sea thousands of miles away. And how do you think disputes over military airspace relates to the American economy? Thinking's hard, I know. The only thing the committee can do and will likely end up doing is passing non-binding resolutions as press releases and putting forth bills trying to limit Chinese products sold within America, likely to not pass the Senate. The main issue being that America exported all of its cheap labor to China, so it's not akin to countries in dire straits trying to pushback on competition; Americans largely benefit from the savings on costs via Chinese production, largely in the price tag. Trying to artificially limit the supply of Chinese goods to America, alongside expected supply issues this winter with COVID, will largely hurt the pocketbooks of Americans before anything else. The idea that Chinese economic growth is at the expense of American consumers requires anti-Chinese racism because it's a nonsensical argument for any politician to make. It's theatre. ZIVERT Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 China serving Ciara the last few years. Oh well.
Haus Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Highly disturbing and xenophobic, but it’s not surprising that an entity which has proven its inadequacy is blaming others for its failure to innovate.
