Honestly only Laundry Service era was a massive success overall for her English career

OF2 wasn't doing so good until she rereleased it with HDL

SW wasn't such a big success either (was mismanaged af tho, justice for Men In This Town)

And self-titled had cute moments such as CRTFY and the World Cup

OF was a huge era what are you even talking about lol the CLASSICS those two volumes pumped out are a part of pop culture. SW was terribly mismanaged but still did it's thing. Self titled was a reminder of her still being that ***** because her hitting billions of views for nearly every video was wild lol

She should only include Te Felicito, Monotonía and the Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 for the new album.

Me Gusta and Don't wait up are mediocre and Clandestino is so old (it belongs more to El Dorado era  :rip: ).

#1 in every spanish speaking country on Spotify with huge numbers:jonny5:

And of  course she didn't debuted in my flop portuguese speaking country :grump:

Mother really ate. But we needed that damn album for like yesterday. Singles and droplets are a thing of the past now.

I would rather have a cohesive full album than another Dorado mess (let the droplets be droplets). But she can do whatever she wants.

She should include only those 3 on the standard edition and add everything else on a Deluxe to help with streams and certifications.

I think this could be her first album to be consumed by the masses as a full body of work since Sale El Sol

I'm talking about OF2 only, not FO1 :deadbanana4:

Don't Bother didn't bring the success the label wanted in the US so they rereleased with HDL and Illegal wasn't even released in the US

GIUTM and Gypsy also did badly in the US but as we said due to mismanagement and the whole last min fiasco with DIA/GIUTM

I'm personally biased against self-titled cause I was waiting years for the EDM/Dance album she was working on (we only ended up getting Dare and Chasing Shadows from the original concept I think) but for a Rihanna collab I think everyone incl. Shakira herself expected more

Of course all those English eras were big in Europe but I meant US only.

3 million here in Mexico, :toofunny3:, she was everywhere on tv, radio like EVERYWHERE.

Same in Argentina. Everyone was talking about her not just on Twitter but in real life and the news!

She's a LEGEND, the Messi of music.

I went out to dinner with my friends and one of the topic of the night was Shakira's new song :jonny5:

And I'm not the one who started it :jonny5:

I'm a big football fan butI hate the misogynist football fans. Most of them are supporting Piqué, even some of his biggest haters on twitter think he's so cool right now for mocking Shakira using Casio and Twingo references. They think Shakira should "get over it and shut up because he's the father of her children" :biblio:

The latin and hispanic artists have been Team Shakira though  :alexz3:

If she has an album ready (or a bunch of songs ready) this is THE time to release

it will be amazing to see her repeak in her third decade in music

Posted

It's no surprising at all Pique gets most of his online support from misogynistic incels. They are the ones defending his cheating and making jokes about broken Ferraris and faulty Rolexes. It's a reflection of our society and how women are viewed.

The way yesterday the song was playing everywhere while I walked through the streets I mean I was walking and randomly at least one people were watching a TikTok or Reel with the song on every corner then I went to a McDonald’s and literally 4 people were listening to a snippet of the song on their mobiles while eating a Big Mac and then I came home put the radio (I never do it tbh) and the first song that came was this. She really have everyone talking about it and it’s something that I have never seen in LatAm till now

We don't even have an album yet and you guys already want to taint it with a bunch of forgotten flops from before the pandemic (or DWU, which was itself a pandemic). :rip:

Te Felicito, Monotonía and Session 53 are the only pre-release tracks worth including, since they were hits, quality songs, and actually relate to her current situation.

The rest could be deleted from existence for all I care. 2018-2021 was easily the lowest point in her career quality-wise. :deadbanana2:
