Taylor very clearly went out of her way to block Drake from #1 but what meaningful record did he miss out on? The only other time Taylor stopped a meaningful record from being broken was when she blocked Despacito And yes, Taylor/her team tried to get to #1 because they could. This happens all the time. Did you forget when Gaga and Ariana had a discount off when tun and ASIB were competing for #1? You're trying to be sarcastic but literally everyone else sees it. Even some of her own stans have admitted that this girl is way too competitive and petty when she doesnt have to be. Taylor will very likely go back to #1 in the next week or 2. Why isn't it ever eough for her or her die hard chart obsessed fans? Now what I would like to know is how many of the last minute versions actually sold and who put the 30k figure out? What was HDD counting? This was a set up.
BajanBeauty Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Go SZA, Taylor tried to manipulate her way back to number 1 and got denied!
Dr. Alexander Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 She did it! How exciting for her and the team.

More strikingly, SOS is the first R&B album by a woman to spend its first four weeks at No. 1 in nearly 30 years, since Janet Jackson’s janet. ruled for its first six frames (June 5-July 10, 1993). (R&B albums are defined as those that have hit or are eligible for Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart.) LEGENDARY THINGS!!!

I asked you to list all the times Taylor supposedly went out of her way to stop black artists from breaking a significant record and you failed to come up with anything because that's a narrative you made up in your mind. Taylor and her team have an over the top obsession with being #1, we all know that, but you're trying to make it more than that
idkwiam Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 These tricks are becoming weirder with each passing day. We need content from her and not audio clips which literally no one cares.
bad guy Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 The fact that Taylor really tried to block SZA from having a record breaking achievement that hasn’t been met in 30 years by a black woman Evil really lost.

YellowRibbon Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Haters laughing while I'm here laughing at their faves abysmal 11th weeks. OP: Congrats Taylor!
Assassin Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 8k difference in official figures but HDD saying it was less than 200 difference.
bxtbxt9797 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I hope Taylor continues to compete whenever she has a chance. Charts are business, not art, so there’s no such thing as being too competitive there.
Mr. Specialist Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Sza won as she should’ve. I’m glad Taylor lost.
