Rena being successful and returning her to the top of the singles charts in her 40s solidified it. I'll always remember it because it's a turning point in a pop superstar's career that the vast majority never get to. She's sitting at the table with classic pop divas now.

 

And the "era" is just beginning as its only act 1.

I'm sorry, I like Taylor, but Anti Hero's lyrics are so cringeworthy. Out of all the songs on Midnights, this is the biggest hit? The GP failed yet again.

I love Anti-Hero, other than the sexy baby lyric I don't think they're overly cringe.

I mean that's kind of her personality though, she's always been a little cringy, sometimes more sometimes less. Overall I think Anti-Hero has a great message and is very relatable, given the topic, everybody has non logical and over dramatic thoughts like those she sang about, does it sound a bit childish for a 30 something years old? Yes, but I choose to separate Taylor from her music to enjoy it as I should.
