Them forehead wrinkles are starting to pop up. Ironically, I had grey hairs in university but not anymore (guessing it was stress). My crown definitely matured though (hairline went back).

Body wise? Whew. My back hurts 70% of the time. When I get up, I need to warmup my back and knees before proceeding to walk. :deadbanana: Also it takes me longer to warm up properly before a workout.

Energy wise, I feel the same way if I sleep for 6 hours or for 9. However, anything less than 6 hours and I cannot function. At uni, I used to average like 3 hours of sleep ever 36 hours during finals. :rip:

I used to be able to survive off of sleeping only 3 hours, but now I struggle with 6. :deadbanana:

My body weight fluctuates a lot more Ive noticed, and it’s definitely harder to lose the weight too.
I swear I’ll have a big weekend of eating, drinking whatever and I swear I put on like 3kgs in a couple days. It’s EXHAUSTING :rip:

My appetite has decreased severely.

I have some gray hairs.

And I need to take vitamins every day just to feel revitalized and have enough energy to get through the day.

No wrinkles though. :gaygacat5:

Yes, the neck pain from sleeping funny has been kicking my ass for the past 2 years :snowman:

Get a memory foam mattress topper, sis. That's the only reason my spine doesn't hate me. My back feels fantastic, and that's value you can't put a price on.

Physically, no. Finally I get to reap the benefits of looking younger than my age. Also, tretinoin, sunscreen, eating healthy, stretching daily, being on your feet all the time, and going to the gym daily help.

However, what's undeniable is I canNOT function off just a few hours of sleep like I used to. :skull: Just a few years ago, I could sleep four hours and go to work or even pull all nighters. I was regularly going to bed at like 4 or 5am. Now I go to sleep at 3:30am at the absolute latest, and even then it's rare I'm up past 2:30. And then another thing is hangovers after 25 are BRUTAL. Like if I take shots all night long, I'm practically on my deathbed for the entire next day. :deadbanana:

I've literally started de-aging guys and I'm not even kidding

A year ago my hair was getting so thin that I buzzed it all off, but now it's as thick as when I was 18.

A year ago, my skin was just going THROUGH it. Adult acne, fine lines, etc. Now it's crystal clear.

I was also struggling with low energy, mood swings, etc, but that's all leveled out and pretty normal again.

The trick? Get 7 hours of sleep and don't eat for at least 3 hours before you go to bed. The not eating before bed part is CRUCIAL because you're not getting good sleep if you eat before bed. And bad sleep is just as bad as not sleeping at all.

This is the only change I've made to my lifestyle and it's DRASTICALLY improved my life.

Only less energy and it's only because I have stopped exercising this week and my diet is also terrible

The eating before sleeping is SO true for me, I have terrible time sleeping if I eat late at night.

Sometimes when I sneeze I end up accidentally throwing my back out, and I generally feel more tired than I used to feel doing the same amount of physical activity I did last year. Soreness and muscle fatigue feels a lot more common now, but fortunately it's still not that bad.

I am 18 right now.

I turn 30 next week.

it's scary. The thought of getting older and not having a partner nor children is frightening. but then I try to think of life as an experience and not something that has to be done by the book.

Mentally. Yes.

physically. No people still think I’m in my late teens/ early 20s lol

The responses in here mean nothing without an age to provide context :deadbanana2:

I turned 29 this year and ABSOLUTELY. The turn at the end of your 20s is insane. Waking up with random pain because you slept funny, random gray hairs, not being able to drink as much, needing more sleep etc. it’s all real.

I just turned 30 and am feeling every bit of this :deadbanana2:

Spoiler

… ngl. I didn’t really have a true mental “eureka” self realization moment until after I hit 30. I take reasonably good care of myself and I’m in good shape, so I haven’t really noticed some of the signs of aging. I was a classically trained musician and now I work in the restaurant/hospitality industry. I do sometimes notice that my joints aren’t quite as responsive to ‘extreme’ flexing.

The biggest takeaway is that my mental health/mentality has stabilized and allowed me to make healthy life decisions easier.

long story short, if you take care of yourself you won’t feel the effects of aging as much as those who don’t. Most of my friends and I have also had some of our best years and life experiences in our 30’s (and I say this as someone who has barely been in their 30’s).

Take care of yourself. Do 10/20 minutes of yoga and/or stretching. Eat well for at least one meal a day. Beat off to avoid prostate issues. Get a yearly physical. Make yourself happy because if you are happy it will help your physical health as well.

Totally a ‘rant’ or preach but for real, life has taught me that aging is somewhat a state of mind. You can do things to avoid a lot of the negative aspects of aging. Read if you want.

I'm a lot less patient than I used to be. I'm apartment-sitting for my boyfriend, and I absolutely hate the location. He lives close to a major street in the city, so traffic is awful, and his parking garage is awful because the first two floors are for hospital staff only.

Also, I need caffeine on a work day. Today I drove to Starbucks once I clocked into work because I was getting crabby without having coffee at home lol

And when people are late, and I make a concerted effort to be on time, it angers me to no end. My roommate said she'd meet me yesterday at 6:30 to drop off keys I left in our apartment, she texted me at 6:18 to tell me she took a nap and fell asleep by accident, so I had to wait 15 extra minutes for her :rip:

Mentally definitely. Sometimes I feel like I have the memory of someone who's in their 80s even though I will only be 25 this year. It has been like that since college and sometimes I genuinely worry about it. I forget words easily, I sometimes forget conversations that I just had. It's scary at times.

There are certain things I absolutely don't put up with anymore as I grew up.
