I don't know where you live, but in the Netherlands the temperature in January is around 3 degrees Celsius usually. Now it's been 12-16 degrees for weeks. There's almost no snow in Asutrian/Swiz ski resorts too because in some places it has been 20 degrees!! The red in the Twitter map doesn't mean 'sunny and warm', it just means temperatures are waaaay above average. And that explains a way lower demand for gas

That’s right but it still feels cold especially outside at night.. It’s different than the previous year tho, and I hope there’ll be more snow in the alps this year
